Max:Angelica's tournament beings

Max, as she shook hands with everyone around her, had her mind focused on the bloody human in her room.

"I have to do something to stop the bleeding," thought Max, but she didn't show it because she was trained to hide her feelings in public. Suddenly, Max noticed that the bepoops around her were getting bigger and bigger, even pushing her.

"Why is everyone so excited?" said Max, as all she could see were smiles.

"Well, we have heard so many things about the great human empire. Now we see a ruler of it. Is that..." said the king, who was standing by a table at the end of the room on the other side, but stopped when someone whispered in his ear and said, "Oh, I see you are a soon-to-be ruler. Wouldn't you like to get advice on how to rule?"

"So Kenneth told him. Showing his diamond to his brother," thought Max.

"Yes, I think that's pretty wise, sibling," said Kenneth, who stood at the back of Max.

"I don't remember saying that," said Max quietly.

"What's the matter? You have to do this..." said Kenneth.

"Sibling!" shouted the king. "Also, since you came here, I have heard you've been having problems with your kingdom."

A sudden blast of quiet laughter filled the room. Max couldn't see Kenneth's face, but she felt his rage burning.

"My back is burning," thought Max. "Come on, Kenneth, relax, or you will give us more issues. But even so, why would his brother say that in front of everyone?"

Max looked at her back, seeing Kenneth burning with rage. Kenneth held her shoulder.

"Don't you dare try to push me," thought Max, and she quietly said, "Kenneth, relax."

"Come on now, Norfolk," said Oklahoma, who was standing in front of Max.

"Wow, she came out of nowhere," thought Max, looking at Oklahoma's calm face. Oklahoma held Kenneth's hand while it was still painfully holding Max's shoulder. Suddenly, he let go of Max's shoulder, calmly smiled, and said, "Yes, here I am, older sibling."

Kenneth passed Max and walked to the table. Max stood there in surprise at Oklahoma.

"How was she able to change him so quickly?" thought Max as she looked at Oklahoma.

"Hey, princess, are you frozen? If you are, then I will warm you up with a kiss," said Oklahoma.

"What are you saying... what about Cody?" said Max.

"Hahaha, it will be our own secret," said Oklahoma and quietly laughed as she hid it with her hand. "I'm just joking."

"She was joking!?" thought Max, surprised, and said, "I think I don't like your jokes."

"Come on, it's not my fault you don't know comedy," said Oklahoma, and put her arm around Max's arm. "Let's go. We can't keep making the king wait for us."

They started walking to the king's table.

"I am a king of comedy. I have read so many joke books, so I know comedy," said Max.

"No matter how many books you read, you will never be one," said Oklahoma.

So they had their few chats and soon reached the table. The table was long and full of bepoop food.

"I wish there was one thing I could eat," thought Max as she looked around at the food.

"NOW, PRINCESS, COME LET'S EAT," said the king.

Max froze for a minute and said, "My king, I would like to get advice from you, so... I will see the food later."

"Well, that's your mistake," said the king and laughed. "Bring more food!"

"More!? Where will he put it?" thought Max.

Suddenly, a bunch of maids brought another table full of food.

"Hahaha, sibling, you still have that hunger of our father. They have truly cursed you," said Kenneth.

"No, sibling, it's a blessing," said the king, laughing. "We are gods, and we must eat like one."

"If you say so," said Kenneth.

Max smiled as she sat beside Kenneth and thought, "It's nice seeing them act like brothers, even if both of them are idiots."

So time passed by as everyone smiled and ate. Almost everyone visited the table where Max, Kenneth, and the king were. When they were visiting, it was to greet the king or Max but never Kenneth. Some would only take disgusted looks at Kenneth.

"What's the matter with them? Don't they have respect? Well, I know his kingdom is... not good, but still, a king is a king..." thought Max.

She looked at Kenneth's face to see how he was dealing with it. He was silent, just eating his food.

"He doesn't care?... He must be used to it," thought Max.

Suddenly the king stood up from his chair. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at the king.

"Angelicas, show me your combatants!" shouted the king.

Three bepoops stood up from where they were sitting. The closest was a beautiful bepoop man with white hair and the longest horns Max had ever seen.

"That's Fintan Page, I remember him greeting me. He was the one that took the longest disgusted look at Kenneth," thought Max.

"Now then, Angelica Page, show me your fighter," said the king.

"Yes, great king," said Fintan with a big deep voice, "Sir Arthurick, Arthurick The Storm."

Suddenly a large bepoop stood up with brown hair and yellow eyes, but he had small horns.

"That's a large bepoop!" thought Max. She looked at the king, who was looking at an old bepoop man by the side of the room. He was old, but he was still handsome.

"That must be... Amin Rush," thought Max.

"Angelica Rush, show me your fighter," said the king.

"Yes, I was right again," thought Max, smiling to herself.

"Yes, oh great one," said Amin Rush, "Now stand Rhysley Of The Shadows."

A 30-year-old-looking bepoop with a thin body and tired eyes stood up slowly but quickly sat down.

"Is he alright?... Can he even fight?" thought Max, looking at the tired bepoop.

Max looked at the last bepoop standing. It was a young bepoop that looked the same age as Cody.

"Is he a bit too young to be the head of the family? Well, that's not important. Let's continue my game. I think this one is going to be hard... who are y... oh, it's you," thought Max.

Max remembered him because the young bepoop was trying to take her hand in marriage.

"I don't even know him... why am I getting angry over spoiled milk? He doesn't even like me. He just did this for power," thought Max and started remembering all the bad times they did that to her. "Why am I wasting my peace of mind on those people?... oh, that little boy is Tim Ho."

"Now, young Angelica Ho," said the king.

"...Yes, sir, I mean... king," said Tim Ho, "Caelie The Knightly, please show yourselves."

Max looked around, not seeing anyone stand up as they were all doing the same as Max.

"Young Ho, where is your..." said the king.

Suddenly, someone opened the door. Everyone looked at the man standing by the door.

Max looked in surprise at the man and thought, "That's the bepoop that was talking with Kenneth."

"Who are you?" asked the king.

The bepoop with black hair bent down on one knee and said, "Sorry, I am late."

"I didn't ask you to apologize, I asked who you are," said the king.

"Ah, sorry, great king. That is Caelie... Caelie The Knightly," said Tim as he ran to the black-haired bepoop.

"Oh, I see," said the king, then slowly sat down. "Now then, these are the combatants. The tournament will begin tomorrow, so rest until the day comes. LET'S EAT!!!"

A sudden roar of claps and cheers filled the room.

"Is that everyone who is doing this tournament!?" thought Max, and leaned closer to Kenneth and quietly said, "Are these the only people we are working with?"

"No, they were the only people we were working with," said Kenneth with a cocky smile.

"What are you talking about? Did you drink too much?" said Max.
