Such A Little Cutie(22)

Su Tang, who was praised, put down Shi Yi's sleeve contentedly, while she simultaneously controlled twice as many zombies as before and ordered them to besiege Yao Zi.

Yao Zi and others had to use all their combined power to escape from the "small" group of zombies.

Cheng Jie couldn't help but murmur.

"Are these zombies crazy today? Why do they are they chasing us?"

Yan Lie stretched out his hand and rubbed his eyebrows, trying to relieve his headache.

"That is to say, we are obviously about to arrive at the base, and so the surrounding zombies should have been cleaned up by the superpowers in the base. Why..."

Why are they chasing them as if we had targets on our backs...

Gu Shu lowered his head, not exactly knowing what he, himself, was thinking.

Only, he would occasionally raise his head to look at the obedient little girl following the boy, and bewilderment appeared in his pupils.

However, among the few people, the most embarrassed is Yao Zi.

In the beginning, the men looked after her, and only her.

Yao Zi: I was impatient. I just wanted to clean up the surrounding zombies first.

It's inevitable that some don't care about her.

But, while avoiding the disgusting zombies, she also avoided the ability to severely attack them due to range difficulties.

Although no one was bitten, many suffered several injuries.

The clothes were tattered and stained with dust, and her hair was in disarray.

Most importantly though was that at the moment when a person used their abilities, their mental power would skyrocket, and as such Yao Zi felt for a moment that one of the brainwashed men seemed to have broken free of her control.

Fortunately, the zombies dispersed quickly.

Carefully testing Cheng Jie and the others again, she was relieved to find that they were all still HERS, but the fear of her loss of control quickly turned into a terrible rage upon seeing Su Tang who was dressed intact and not half embarrassed.

Cheng Jie had to coax Yao Zi for a while before her tantrum died down.

Although he only managed to because Yao Zi controlled her temper for the sake of looking good in from of Shi Yi.

Yao Zi bit her lower lip and looked at Su Tang.

"So many zombies besieged just now...Are you not hurt at all?"

Su Tang glanced at Yao Zi, sure that the number of zombies that had just rushed on would block her sight.

There was a soft "um".

Two snow-white fangs flashed in the sunlight, and the little face tilted, looking at Yao Zi suspiciously.

"Why are you injured? Don't zombies punch one at a time?"

As she said that, the little girl shook her fist, her white face full of wonder.

"Can't everyone handle that?"

Yao Zi, "..."

It's not.

It's really not like that.

Who instilled this terrible thought in you?

...

Yao Zi was stifled by Su Tang, and so she didn't make any move to help set up camp for the night.

(Though Su Tang and Shi Yi barely helped as well.)

As the night gradually swallowed the clear sky, Su Tang followed Shi Yi and suddenly felt a little hungry. When it was just her and Shi Yi, she would hunt whenever she was, but Yao Zi is here now.

She can't reveal her identity as a zombie, so she can't look for crystal nucleus to chew on, and the crystal nucleus that she had put in her pocket was secretly finished by her on the road.

Woo.

A bit annoying.

The girl wrinkled her nose, grievously rubbing her shriveled belly with her white hands.

When Shi Yi tilted his head, what met his eyes was Su Tang's appearance of a little milk cat who had been wronged, and his lower lip silently bent.

Slender fingers took out a crystal nucleus from the schoolbag on his back and put it in the little girl's mouth.

The little deciduous teeth stroked the boy's index finger, as hard as a cat bites.

Itchy.

Shi Yi lowered his eyelashes quietly, and licked his lips silently and joyfully.
