"Vera..... Vera!"

"Got damn it stop yelling women! Can't you see I'm trying to go into shock in peace!"

"Shit she's cursing this is not going to end well."

"Hunny, I'm going to need you to calm down" she gently tried to sooth me

Haha calm down she's says. Me not calm? I'm always calm. I'm the epitome of f****** calm! I'm so not bugging out.

"Vera I need you to look at me and breath. You need to stay calm or thing will go bad'"

"I AM CALM!!! STOP TELLING ME TO STAY CALM YOU DECEITFUL WOMEN!"

I didn't ask for none of this. I certainly didn't asked to be lied to. All this time I thought my father died some tragic death, and she let me believe he was dead. And now this only half human stuff.

Tears started to roll down my cheek as I tried to make sense of this. I couldn't , I can't think or focus... or breath... I thought as I started to hyperventilate.

..Okay! Don't panic it's just oxygen the one thing I need to you know , like live.

As I started to panic I started feeling these weird sensations, tingles was the best way to describe it. It starting at my toes working it's way up my body all the way to my finger tips. lol no big deal, probably just my body responding to the lack of oxygenated blood flowing through my body due to me hyperventilating ... no big deal at all.

"Sar! I know your here get your ass down here now and do something! Her emotions are making her powers surge and I swear to god if she messes up my rug I'll blame you! Those were made with motarian worm silk. Do you know what I had to do to get that!!!"

"M'lady master Will warned that if she was to have an attitude anything like you, it would be best to put a barrier up." He said glancing in Vera's direction. "I see he was right".

"Who cares!! Just hurry before she starts to out put then we will both be in trouble" Vivian anxiously expressed as watched her daughter have a mental breakdown.

"M'lady we may have an issue" Sar stated as he started to sweat

"What issue" Vivian forced out through gritted teeth

"Uhm well, she created a barrier around her self. A very strong one at that, I can't penetrate it...."

"Well that just fucking peachy"

Everything was happening in slow motion. Papers and everything was flying across the dinning room. Mom was arguing with that weird butler dude again. But I couldn't hear anything, almost like everything was muted. I could only hear my thoughts and a slight hum. Where was it coming from. It was slowly getting louder. The louder it got, the more the tingly sensation increased. They started to make me feel numb, like when my feet fall asleep from sitting wrong. Only that it was starting to cause pain.

"Mom" I heard a strangled voice call out, wait that's me. She instantly looked at me then made her way towards me, but she stopped. Why is she distancing herself. She looked distressed, I hated seeing her looking full of worry.

She put her hand up on some transparent wall between us that glowed where her hands touch and than started banging on it.

It was like each impact was sent directly to my brain and it caused me to collapse and cry out in pain which caused her to bang even harder

"STOP!!" I screamed out in pain

Instantly her body was flung across the room sending her into the wall adjacent from her

The needle prick sensations were getting more intense by the second, almost unbearable

"Make it stop, please just make it stop" I cried hoping to find relief.

Then everything stopped, as if time was frozen. If I wasn't in so much pain I'd be amazed at the dust particles and everything suspended in air around me.

"Vera, focus on my voice"

I heard faintly

"Hello"

"Yes, focus on my voice, I need you to listen to me, if not your mother and everybody in a 100 mile radius will be in danger"

"What's happening to me? It hurts so bad please make it stop" I cried

I could care less if it was a stranger or just me finally going crazy hearing voices I just needed the pain to stop

"I know I'm so sorry my flower everything will cease soon"

Suddenly there was like a burst in my head and the pain slowly started to simmer down as a feeling a calmness washed over me. Everything fading white then suddenly went black.

My eyes started to close involuntarily as exhaustion took over my body

And then I heard it, somebody humming a tune I never heard before yet was so familiar

Before my conscious slipped away, I mustered out the strength to feebly thank one person

"Thank you dad"
