Entry 2 - The first week (Aloe)

It's been a year since I started working in Aelin Inn and I couldn't be happier, Kyrell is such a nice person who always listens to me whenever I want to rant. In fact, that's pretty much what I did a week after I joined the inn.

Looking back to a year ago, I wonder if I hadn't met Kyrell where would I be now?

After I left Hololive, I joined the inn and noticed that I wasn't actually being worked. At first, I didn't realise since I was in a different headspace, but after a week, I asked Kyrell why he wasn't letting me work.

His answer was quite straightforward: "You look like you need time to yourself, so I didn't think you wanted to work."

What can you say to that? I never would have thought that your boss wouldn't make you work because you're not in a good place. That ain't how it goes, normally.

Well, that sure made me feel guilty so I asked him to give me something to do and he did.

On the first day of my second week, I was sweeping the grounds and wiping the floor of the entire inn. Nothing too hard, but I guess that's what he was going for.

Once work was finished I was told to pretty much just relax and Kyrell even joined me as well when he was free.

That's when it happened.

I don't know how he did it, but ten minutes after talking to him I ended up ranting and letting out everything I was holding in my chest: frustration, sorrow, regrets! All of it came out and all he did was talk to me.

Though I'm not complaining, thanks to that I managed to get a lot of things out and lighten my chest a bit.

Even with all the things that have happened, I'm glad I've met Kyrell. I really am.
