A Sudden Attack
The pillar of light only lasts for a short while and the moment it ends. wen jun felt a shock as if his heart just stop beating and his energy getting drained again.

It's not as bad as last time but the sudden drain of energy made wen jun lose his balance and fall down to the ground from the top of the canyon.

Wen jun hit the ground face first. He felt the pain, he felt the impact and even the ground was smash by his fall but his body is perfectly fine with no scratches whatsoever.

Aria who was with him couldn't help but comments on his current situation.

Hearing her word, I couldn't help but recall the time when my body sucks something shiny from inside the ape it killed.

[ Although it would be great if that ape was a seventh tier because a seventh tier beast mana is enough for that spell and won't make you this pathetic.]

Hearing Aria's words I felt shivers down my spine. I have just reincarnated for not even a year but this is basically the second time I almost died.
Once because of the purple ape and once because of this mana depletion situation.

I couldn't help but wanting to get stronger now. This new world im in is way too dangerous. If not for this cheat of a body I currently have, I would probably be dead the moment I arrive here.

After almost an hour, I then could start to move my body. I'm sure old man Titan and Tiana are worried about me. It's really weird how they care for me like im part of their family.

As I was making my way back to the camp while staggering a bit. I saw Tiana who was searching for me near the entrance to the crater. I couldn't help but smile at her as she keeps shouting my name with a worried look on her face almost falling into tears. Is this the warmth of family I wonder?

I took a deep breath and keep up a manly posture. I bear with the pain and start walking normally towards her. With a smile on my face, I appear out of a bush wanting to frighten her. As I make some rustling sound she start to come closer while trembling a little.
with a trembling voice, she then said

" Ju-Jun is that you? It's not funny. come on out we are about to leave. If you don't come out then you might get left behind! "

With a roar, I appear in front of her making her fall down. As snot and tears were about to come out. I immediately at her head and calm her down. She didn't talk to me but grab my hand pulling me to follow her.
She was really short so I have to hump my back a little bit and although it was kinda painful I still didn't show any sign of it as I don't want my cover to be blown.

Upon arriving at camp, I saw old man titan talking with the knight's squad captain. Old man titan expression seems worried. I guess he was the reason why the people have not yet start moving.

As we start getting closer Tiana starts to call for old man titan. Hearing her voice old man titan then glance in our direction and start to smile while waving his hand.
I'm sure I have some explaining to do later but im too tired right now so I will brush off their questions until my injury healed a bit.
To be honest, I think my rapid regeneration was caused by my mana because now that I barely have any mana in me. The regeneration is slow like a snail.

A first covered in fire hit my face as fast as a bullet. My body was sent flying till it hit the wall and I groan in pain while buried by some rubbles.
The onlookers were shocked by the sound and automatically look in my way. My body that barely recovered now was in more pain than ever. Aria who I hid inside of my cloth was brimming with anger after I got hit.

[ Which monkey did this!! Let me kill you, You ungrateful monkey how dare you to attack your own lord!!]

I tried to ignore her as she keeps cursing on the guy who hit me none stop with a very loud tone. I'm the only one that can hear her anyway so her being noisy is just adding on to my headache.

I slowly get up from the pile of rubble that are covering my body and shake my head to clear my thoughts.

I then look in the direction of my previous location and I saw the demon knight squad captain. He wore a full armor of white and his whole body was burning with fire. And even though he currently wears a helmet. I can tell that he is looking at me with eyes full of anger and hatred.

He was breathing heavily as he let out smokes from his helmet. After our eyes met he then starts to talk in an aggressive manner.

"VAMPIRE BASTARD!! I know your kin!! you and your pretty face seduced other people's wives and not only that. When you are not satisfied with making their wives run with you. You will even seduce their daughter. My wife cheated on me because of a vampire bastard like you. And not only that! My baby daughter who is only thirty years old was also seduced."

"ARGH!! I'm going to kill vampires like you!"

Hearing his word I just couldn't help it but be pissed. So his reason for attacking me is because im a vampire and he once have a wife that cheated on him and not only that his thirty year old daughter has also become that vampire woman.

This old man is absurd!
Anger starts to accumulate in me after listening to his unreasonable reasoning for attacking me. If not because of my injury I would dash towards him and attack him already.

Even if im not that strong, im confident I can kill this man if im not injured. Tsk, if only im not injured.

The onlookers were looking at the two of them in shock. Some were very angry at the captain's unreasonable excuses while some men pity the poor life of that captain.

As the onlookers start to gossip with each other. The demon captain then dashes towards wen jun who was staggering a bit.
Under his helmet, he was smirking happily as he can relive his anger towards the innocent vampire.

He then appeared fast in front of wen jun and his burning fist then hit wen jun in the gut. He launches a lot of rapid punches focusing on wen jun gut only.

Wen jun who currently having a hard time to move his body could only do nothing and let his body get an attack.
In his mind, wen jun was angry beyond words. He keeps repeating his desire in his head. The word I want to kill him was the only thing he have on his mind right now.

As his eyes start to turn red and even his hair starts to return to white. He look at the demon captain in anger while throwing up a bit of his golden blood.
Aria was also vibrating strongly inside of his clothes like she was also enraged
