E3 C3: Highs and Lows Part 3

Loki stared in horror as he found himself standing in the middle of the Mistralean forest. Being here should be physically impossible in this moment, especially since he was still in the middle of Vale. Or at least he used to be.

Feeling the gentle autumn wind blow past him making the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, none of this was good, and he had to find a way out of this fast or else.

"Reaper! Let me out of your semblance! I came here to stop Pixie from causing too much havoc!" Loki yelled out into the forest, when nothing responded after a few minutes he began to move through the forest. "Well this just makes things a whole lot worse...I just gotta hope to get to him first before he kills anyone."

Running through the paths of the forest he knew all too well from memory, it was startling to see just how real this all was. How real it felt.

Gritting his teeth as he fought against the emotions and raging memories that wanted to break free. He couldn't allow himself to break because of this, not when his stoicism depended on it. Around these people, he couldn't allow himself to show what was really deep down. Couldn't show the real him.

The farther he went, the more denser the forest grew. And the denser it grew, the more his gut tightened. In forests like this it was hard to tell where something was going to come from, even harder to react before something could deal a lethal blow to him.

It was then he heard branches and twigs snapping in all directions. All headed right for him.

Kicking into high gear, Loki proceeded to climb the closest tree he could get to. To his honest surprise, he never expected to be able to climb as well as he did. It had been four years since he had to climb a tree like this, yet his instincts seemed to be able to keep going where he needed to be.

Stealing a glance as he looked down, his eyes widened as what he thought was going to be multiple of whatever in the hell was headed his way. Instead. He saw the thing that had harmed him in the Factory a month ago.

It was unlike anything he had ever seen in his life, and he had seen various kinds of grimm and people in his life. All dangerous, all deadly. But this thing, was far from anything he had seen.

It was stark white in color with red accenting its arms, legs face, it had small ribbons falling from the shoulders, along with flaps that seemed almost like it made a dress, with the edges accented with red. It looked like some amalgamation of what was once considered a person. And when it looked up at him, it was like something out of a horror movie. Where its eyes, nose, mouth, and ears were supposed to be. Was skin covering the holes.

And in its hand was a scythe as white as its skin, the edge of the blade was accented with red as well.

"What in th-" He barely managed to get those words out as it lunged at him. Surging up the tree having jumped without even needing the bend its legs.

Loki gripped the knife in his hand before diving out of the tree in the direction the creature had come from as he landed on the ground rolling before launching into a full on sprint. If he headed back the way he came, he should be able to get out. At least that was what he hoped.

[Back in Lilac's world]

She found herself waking up in a hospital room that was all too familiar. Looking at her arms, she noticed that she was strapped down by two fabric straps, the same with her legs. Normally she would've found it interesting being tied to a gurney. Would've even joke about it and tease someone.

But when she saw the Atlesian symbols that lined the screen of the monitor that kept track of her pulse and other vital signs.

What the Hell?

Opening the curtain that kept her separated from the rest of the world. A man wearing a mask that was stylized after that of a beowulves. He wore a brown long coat that had definitely seen better days. In his hand was a small revolver style pistol. Which he intended to use on Lilac, or at least he did when he took notice of the room and all on the intricacies about it.

Atlas. It wasn't everyday someone from Atlas would be attending as a student in a completely different kingdom. Looking at her, he studied the state of the room as pieces were beginning to come together.

"So you're an odd case." The man paused before grabbing the chart at the end of her gurney. "Lilac Soleil-Venetia. What brings you here to the boonies. Not a fan of tech?"

"W-what's going on? Why am I here?!" Lilac yelled out as her fear doubled in intensity as she stared at the discount store grim reaper. Luckily for her, she didn't have to worry about falling since she was already on her ass.

"What's going on is that I asked you a question. I expect you to answer it, it's almost like you don't understand how a conversation works." He said in a low peeved tone placing the pistol on the flat of her right ankle. "Answer the question or lose your ability to move."

[In Carter's World]

"Okay! What in the hell is going on here?!" He yelled as he ran from what he at first thought were people. But instead of that he was being chased by some kind of weird creature in white. He slid behind a small wooden cottage that was all familiar too him, but he didn't really have time to worry about why he was here. When his time was currently at risk of being taken from him.
