It was days after the first attack. And I was already making changes. I mix and matched up the rooms using my points, and got the sword from the Knight guy. It was dropped in here.
I practiced using my ice ability, and coated the sword in a thin sheet of ice. Over the next week, I was hard at working. But the time soon came I would have to go outside.
I walked down the corridor, greeting my mobs and my Mob Drood.
"Come, I'm going outside." I said to the Drood. It followed me and we walked out of the cave. I was tired of the dusty place, and I wanted to explore. At least, for a little.
We came out into a lush and really humid forest. I beckoned my Drood to follow, and together, we continued into the deep part of the forest. I saw squirrels here and there, but not a lot of wild life. We ventured father into the trees and unknown fate- finally meeting a deer.
The deer, on seeing us, panicked and ran into a bush. We continued, and I saw a clearing. In the middle of the clearing was a massive oak tree. Stretching taller than anything mankind has every built.
We moved behind the tree and continued. That's when we saw a cottage ahead of us. And old man was seen croncked out on a chair.
"Hey you there, don't be shy, come over!" The old man waved with his hand. I got bad vibes from the man. But I went anyway because why not. The old man went inside his house and brought out some tea.
"Well, hello?" I said. The old man nodded, sipping his tea quietly.
"I know your a dungeon master, and you probably don't know the Intel of this world. And judging from the way you walk, you can't fight either," The old man said casually, in a tone that was meant for talking about weather.
"How.. do you know?" I asked, suspicious. My Drood snarled, intrigued and perplexed.
"Well, if you didn't know. Our world was created by a dragon. The dragon poured all his power to create our world. He created another dragon, one meant to be the ultimate of the earth. The dragon was killed by soldiers a some 500000 years after it was created. It left the six guardians, the guardian of ethereal, Tatthreal, Love, Death, Hatred, and Discord," The man sipped his tea.
" But what about this world, what happened then?" I asked. I should've been on edge, but something about this man's voice is soothing.
" Ah, you see, the humans created their continents and continued their rampage. Now, there is a war. You know, if you want more you could always sneak into a kingdom and read the king's diaries. Each one has what happened to the world."
I sighed. I finished my tea and was about to say goodbye to the man when he said, " Don't. You need to learn how to fight."
The man stood up, staggering towards me. He put a hand on the hilt of my blade and drew it out, then giving it to me. " Give it a go. " He said.
I decided to lunge at the man with my blade pointed, so I pushed myself forward and pointed my blade at his heart. But the man was already gone. He appeared behind me, saying, "Faster."
I groaned and swived over, trying to slash the man horizontally, but it only hit air. This went on for a couple more rounds, before I got fed up and punched the ground. Immediately a ice path moved towards the man and engulfed him in ice. Didn't work.
"You got some work ahead of you" He said.
