15. Andika's Happiness

"What are the conditions, Uncle?" Andika looked at Amurwa's face with pleading eyes. As a young child he should never have thought about how to replace his father with a new one, but Andika, who had been hurt by Mr. Kusuma many times, felt very hurt and disappointed. His disappointment is not easy to treat and heal with the treasure that his father always gave him. Andika repeatedly begged his father to pay attention to him and his mother, but Mr. Kusuma seemed to ignore it. He never fulfills his son's wishes at all and what hurts even more is his father's answer that he works to provide for himself and his mother.

"Ask your mom and dad's permission. If they allow, I'll let you stay at my house. But if they refuse, then you must be willing to stay in your house. I don't mind staying with you at home. But still God's blessing is in the blessing of parents. I don't want you to get into trouble in your life just because you follow your emotions, young master." Andika is upset because what appears at this time is Amurwa, a calm and always gentle soul that makes Andika's heart melt because of it, but Amurwa never wants to violate the rules and norms of life. He always walks straight in the right direction without even intending to turn it. Hearing Amurwa's answer, Andika pursed her lips as if he felt that the conditions proposed by Amurwa were difficult conditions. Andika looked at Amurwa's face with a languid look. He wanted so badly to say that Amurwa was as evil as when he told his mother, but he immediately stopped his intention.

"How? Is it possible?"

"Uncle has to accompany me to say goodbye to them!" Amurva nodded. He led Andika to step closer to Padmasari and shook her hand. Andika looked at her mother's face trying to attract attention. Padmasari looked at Amurwa and then back at Andika.

"Mommy, Forgive me, Please!." Padmasari nodded. She is happy that Amurwa can control her son's emotions. Shee felt very relieved because she didn't have to hold back her anger all day because it turned out that Dika could be controlled by Amurwa easily.

"May I sleep at Uncle's house?" Hearing the second request of her kid, Padmasari was stunned. She was just relieved that Andika became a sweet child by apologizing, but now his request really made her short of breath. Padmasari wanted to shake his head but Amurwa shook her head. Padmasari looked back at Andika and touched his shoulder and asked him to sit down. He stroked her son's shoulder, trying to convey her feelings.

"How will I sleep without you by my side, son? If you leave me with Uncle, who am I with? All this time didn't you know that you were Mami's best friend? A friend who always accompanies me wherever I am. Do you have the heart to leave me with Papa who is not at all. . . ." Padmasari did not continue his sentence. She was breathless because she imagined being alone with a cold husband who didn't want to touch her. Andika looked down. He was touched by his mother and confirmed that if he left, his mother would suffer alone.

"Mommy, I'm sorry. I only wanted to stay one night. But if Mommy objected, Andika was okay. I feel sorry for you who has raised me all this time." Padmasari nodded. deep down she was really confused by a situation that might be very easy for people, but not for her. leaving her child with someone else and herself alone with the ice rock, she felt unable to freeze because it would also freeze.

"Ask Papa's permission, if Papa allows then I will also allow it."

"Thank you Mom. My mom always understands me. Mom is the best. Mommy is always there for me." Andika kissed the back of his mother's hand many times. He was really happy to hear his mother's approval. He quickly got up and pulled Amurwa's hand to leave Padmasari to Mr. Kusuma's room. Andika ran, still pulling Amurwa's hand, as if he couldn't wait if he wanted to leave his parents' mansion. Seeing Andika's happiness, Amurwa followed Andika's steps. He would not interfere in any affairs if indeed Mr. Kusuma did not treat his family badly.

Knock knock

"Come in!" Andika looked at Amurwa who was standing behind her. He was really pounding when his father told him to come in. The happiness that had appeared earlier was now out of nowhere, replaced by the worry that he would be treated harshly like before. Seeing Andika restless, Amurwa immediately took Andika's hand and pushed the teak wood door slowly. His hand pushed Andika's body slowly so that the child would move forward without hesitation. "Uncle" Amurwa nodded his head when Andika looked at him, as if giving strength so that the little boy dared to take risks for all his actions.

"Come in!"

Hearing Master Kusuma's orders, Andika stepped forward. His hand was still holding Amurwa's hand and then brought his body closer to Amurwa when he was close to Mr. Kusuma.

"Papa. . . ."

"Hmm"

Amurwa looked at Mr. Kusuma with sharp eyes when he heard Mr. Kusuma only cleared his throat when Andika called him. Amurwa was annoyed that Mr. Kusuma's unfriendly attitude made Andika nervous.

"I want to ask permission." Mr. Kusuma only looked at Andika for a moment, making Andika's body tremble. Amurwa is still waiting for the next scene. He hoped that Mr. Kusuma would have the heart to understand his son's feelings and let Andika go with him to his official residence.

"I want to sleep at Uncle's house, is that okay?" Mister Kusuma nodded. He had absolutely no choice but to agree to his son's wishes. He was upset because Andika grew up to be a coward. A coward who hesitates to express his feelings. By following Amurwa, he hopes that his son can follow in the footsteps of the man who has always been loyal to guard him.

"Thank you, Papa." Mister Kusuma nodded once again. There were no words he could say. I don't know why his tongue is really numb and stiff. To just say yes was very hard and Mr. Kusuma had no other choice but to nod.

"Come on, Uncle, Papa let me." Amurva nodded. He looked at Mr. Kusuma and said goodbye to him. Mr. Kusuma nodded, then looked at Andika who was shining with a nod of his head. There was a deep sense of sadness that she felt when he realized that his son would rather be with other men than with himself in his home. Andika left Mr. Kusuma's private room with light steps while still being watched by Mr. Kusuma who was now crying without tears. He was really happy. The steps are light and weightless. His face looks cheerful in contrast to the initial incident before Amurwa took him around the complex with Jeremy.

"Uncle, tomorrow if you go, take me too. I really want to go out and about the city with Mommy."

"Uncle's fine, but does Papa agree?" Andika looked down. Amurwa's questions are always easy, but the answers for some reason are always difficult because they are all related to the policies made by his father.
