His denial made Tori burst into a fit of laughter. She immediately covered her lips but her laughing voice boomed inside her room. Heaving from the lack of air, Tori calmed herself before she faced the dangerous-looking emperor.

"You never fail to amuse me, Your Majesty." Tori wiped the remnants of her laughter from her eyes. "Yes, yes, you do that I dare you.."

She reached for his face and cupped them with both of her hands. "Never forget who I was before I became your queen. If I want to, I can bend the heavens and earth to my will, my king. Before I am your queen and the mother of your child, I am Victoria… just Victoria." Tori shook her head in disappointment as if she was really feeling down – but the sinister gleam of her eyes told him otherwise.
