Suspicious Mei jingjing

Li Jie sat on the bed meditating in the dark and gloomy room as his body kept aching badly, the healing process hurts alot more and when he thought he couldn't bear it any longer, leader Chang's meditation crossed his mind so he decided to try it to calm his nerves.

He kept on meditating for hours as his body was still in the healing process, the door suddenly opened lighting up the room,he squinted his eyes trying to adjust to the light.

Daiyu stood on the doorway with a tray of food in her hands, those beast guards were ogling at Daiyu's body, one of them even smacked her butt telling her to hurry up.

She withheld her anger and ignored them, she stepped into Li Jie's cell closing the door shut.

His golden eyes reflected in the room, she tried to stop her racing heart and dropped the food in front of him.

"Here, eat this quickly before Chaoxiang shows up."

He kept his face calm but cold. "What makes you think I'll do that?" he said in an unhurried tone.

"Aren't you hungry?" she asked

"Why do you care?"

"Cause...." she paused mid sentence, was she just about to tell him?!

"C... cause.... I have to keep you alive in order for Chaoxiang to get those powers."

She stared at his bare chest, his wounds were actually healing.

"You're healing quite fast."

He scoffed. "Why are you even here?, shouldn't you be happy cause your master has finally gotten hold of me?"

Daiyu kept quiet, she should be happy but she's not, she's filled with so much sadness on the inside she felt like smashing her head into the wall and just end her life but it's not so easy to die now, is it.

"Mei jingjing's worried sick about you."

Li Jie's cold gaze softened at the mention of Mei jingjing.

"Mei jingjing, how is she?" he asked with so much concern it gave Daiyu a heartache, if only Li Jie could talk about her that way with so much love in his eyes, she swallowed her emotions and replied.

"She's worried about you, she's been crying all day non stop, she's worried you haven't eaten a thing yet, won't you make her feel better by having this, for her sake, please eat this."

Li Jie felt a sting in his heart at the thought of his wife crying all day, he gazed at Daiyu.

"Has she eaten a thing yet?" he asked, she shook her head.

"No, she hasn't, she doesn't want to."

"Then make her do it."

"I will, if you eat yours as well."

Li Jie gazed at the food, if it will get Mei jingjing to not be worried, he'll do it even if it's poisoned.

Daiyu smiled, he gazed at her.

"I want to ask you something?" he said.

She got confused. "What?"

"Why do you let those morons tease you like that?"

She realized he was talking about the beast guards, she felt embarrassed he saw that.

"What can I do about it, I'm just a lady and I'm like a toy to them."

"How about you do something about it?"

"Like?"

"You're obviously chaoxiang's favorite, if they plan on laying their hands on you, why not cut it off. you're a woman, not a toy so you deserve respect either you're a good person or a bad one."

Daiyu felt her heart skip at his words and a sudden warmth filled her, he still cares about her respect?, it's hard to find guy's who respect women this days, Mei jingjing couldn't be any lucky.

She stepped out closing the door shut, those words were what she needed to deal with this stupid beasts.

She walked out and of course the beasts still stayed guard, she walked past and one of them was about to touch her again but she grabbed his hand and used her powers to form a fire blade cutting off the beast's hand.

The rest beast's were awestruck by her sudden action they stepped back, the other beast grimaced in pain as it stared at it's hands on the floor, she glared at it.

"Lay your filthy hands on me again and your fingers won't be the only thing you loose, be ready to face chaoxiang's wrath as well." she warned making the beast tremble in fear, she smirked at her victory and walked out, master Li Jie, i made the right choice loving you. she thought to herself and vanished from the realm.

Li Jie stayed in the dark room as all he could think about was Mei jingjing, he punched the wall in anger as he wasn't able to be there with her, blood stained the wall as he vented his anger on it causing himself more wounds but the one he felt inside hurt much more.

Mei jingjing stayed in a nearby village where she rented a house to stay with everyone.

Haorang and Chao Xua stayed by her side and at night, they guarded her door.

Mei jingjing had no idea how to know the location of the last seal, which was the earth seal, how will she find it? she can't let master Li Jie down like this.

Her pillow was already soaked with her tears, her eyes had reddened due to a lot of crying, she sat upright and stepped out, she noticed Daiyu holding something in her hands and looked suspicious.

"Huh?"

Mei jingjing followed her out of curiosity and saw her step out of the house.

"Were is she going to?" Mei jingjing followed her silently hoping not to get caught, Daiyu glanced around to make sure no one was following her trail but there was no one at sight. she kept moving and suddenly got to a stop, she closed her eyes and before Mei jingjing knew it, she vanished.

"What tha...?!" she stepped out but Daiyu was nowhere to be seen.

"Where could Daiyu have gone to and why didn't she tell anyone?" Mei jingjing couldn't help but feel suspicious.

Daiyu arrived at the underground realm, Chaoxiang had asked for her.

He sat on his throne waiting for her, he smiled when she showed up.

"Daiyu, so glad you came."

She folded her arms at him. "What do you want?"

"I need you to steal the two seals and bring them to me." he said.

She smirked, if it gets her to deal with Mei jingjing, why not?. "It will be done."

Chaoxiang chuckled. "Great."

Li Jie stayed in the dark room, the door suddenly opened and Daiyu walked in.

He looked away from her. "Why are you here?"

She stared at him as she feverishly absorbed the beautiful refined angle of his face, he was jaw dropping handsome even in such a state "I came to see you."

"What for?"

Before he knew it, she had her lips on his leaving him baffled, was she kissing him?!.

She pulled away surprised by her own actions. Li Jie gazed at her with surprise in his eyes.

She immediately ran out leaving the room, Li Jie touched his lips still in complete shock, he frowned after that. Daiyu rested her back on the door.

Master Li Jie has to be her's no matter what.
