Back To The Police Station

< Shota Aizawa POV >

*swish*

His sharp jab scratched my ear. I tried to hit him with a hook from his blind spot but as if he had eyes behind his head, he just turned around and blocked it with his shoulder.

Using his short height he tried to elbow my stomach but I blocked it with my palm, only then he twisted in place giving me a spinning kick to my side. Despite blocking it too, I was still pushed back with my arm feeling a bit numb.

At the start of the spar, I noticed that he seemed to only know how to fight humanoids, it was as if his martial arts were from the old era, but he quickly adapted by learning from my style and making it his own, just a few minutes was what it took him to make my style his own thing… It was the first time I saw someone as talented as him, he is someone who other people would call "Monster" instead of talented or genius, those titles come short for someone like him.

As the battle went on, I started to use my bandages to restrain him. I would let them loose on the ground and try to pull them whenever he stepped on them, with this I discovered that he had incredible dexterity and adaptability, despite the ground becoming a hazard on itself, he fought without losing any momentum, he just used his arms more for attacking than his legs so as not to be tripped which sounded simple but wasn't in any way, one needs multitasking, great concentration, and footwork.

One thing I noticed was that the bandages were the only thing that he would evade, as he would just block or parry my other attacks. Takeshi was quite fast, but he seemed to restrain himself. I could tell that his speed, reaction, and instincts were off the charts. However, Takeshi's fighting style was too simple or brute even, the way he blocked and took hits head on… I came to realize that he was doing it on purpose. But I didn't question him, only after the spar.

_______________

Aizawa was panting on the ground… while Shiro was just trying on the weights he found, they had a new design unlike the old ones he used before, like more of a futuristic look, but to him it didn't matter. Weights are weights.

While he was putting them on, he felt weirdly refreshed, having real weights instead of the ones he had with Imagination Training gave a different feeling somehow, even if there were no real weights to put on his torso and only for his limbs.

'What if I wear both?'

He turned to Aizawa who had barely regained his breath, "You lack stamina, even if your fighting style is more about ambushing and finishing confrontations in a short time, you will be in trouble if you fight more than a dozen of villains…"

Aizawa was annoyed but couldn't deny it, the kid in front of him could fight for hours without showing any tiredness or even rough breathing. The spar itself was about their experience and technique in combat, so Shiro didn't use any special technique or any intent to kill.

"Is that another special technique?" Aizawa asked while getting back up.

"Yup, it's just about breathing. As long as you have oxygen you could fight as long as you want, so instead of running out of breath, you may end up overheating your body before that… or maybe tearing your muscles apart… or both. Anyway, it just means that I must train harder to increase my limit."

Aizawa thinks for a moment while looking at Shiro moving with the weights on as if he had them all his life.

"...Why didn't you evade any attacks?"

"Hm? Oh, it's just that I don't want to be unbalanced... you know, strength doesn't matter if you can't hit your opponent, the same for speed if you can't take down your enemy. And for endurance… maybe outlasting your target but that's just inefficient." Shiro explained while making some punching, running, and flexing poses.

'Aidan wasn't someone that used strength that much, he used flexibility and technique. During our spars he taught me that… Well, he didn't but I did learn because of him that if you can't touch your opponent, your strength will be useless.'

"I know that my speed is the best I have, my endurance is great too, but my strength is a little behind."

"So, speed is your best trait and you know it. But you want your endurance and strength to be at the same level and you won't settle with anything less?" Aizawa commented as he took a look at Shiro's body frame.

"Pretty much. So... you want to learn breathing techniques?" Shiro said as he sat on the ground crossing his legs.

Aizawa raised an eyebrow giving him a questioning look. "I don't need the crazy body control that you have, do I? I already saw the dexterity of yours, I don't think I can control my body like that any time soon."

While they were sparring, even when Shiro could easily evade an attack, he would twist his body in an unnatural manner just to block it or he would just tank the hit sometimes.

"Not really, I can tell when you are doing it correctly just by looking."

"How t-"

Shiro didn't let Aizawa finish his question and went towards a bundle of bandages that were in a corner, he grabbed them and wore them around his neck and shoulders. 'They have wires inside them, huh.' With that thought, he proceeded to use them as his limbs by dragging weights and picking up other equipment around.

As Aizawa sees this, his eyes widen for a moment.

'Seems like that will be the most surprise I will see on his face…' Shiro thought as he saw Aizawa's expression

"Sigh~ Right, I forgot about how you can learn moves just by looking." He returned to his usually tired and bored attitude. He understood that if he were to do it wrong, Shiro could tell him and correct him.

'But there has to be more to it… can he see people's muscles or something? No, he would need a quirk to do that.'

To Shiro's pleasant surprise, Aizawa was willing to learn and follow his instructions, although he didn't have the same kind of imagination as Shiro, he could very well do meditation and concentration.

< Shiro Takeshi (MC) >

Aizawa was a surprisingly quick learner, from what I've seen from him, his quirk has something to do with his eyes turning red and hair standing up. Not like he can shoot lasers or paralyze someone. There were a few times that he looked at me with his quirk, but I felt no danger from him so I didn't care.

But he got the idea that I wanted him to learn about breathing technique.

"How long am I gonna stay here?" I asked as if I remembered correctly, Tanuma was gonna call my parents if I caused trouble…

"... A week at most. There was an event or something having to do with your parents, but it has ended already."

"So you didn't call them?"

"No that I know of, you want them too?"

"...Nah, I want to see their reactions, let's see if they recognize me."

Aizawa looked at my hair with an unreadable expression… for some reason I wanted to smack him.

"Anyway, I have work to do, nothing about going out on shenanigans when I'm not here." He said as he went towards one of the apartments to get ready or something.

'... He's… not gonna give me food or something? I can survive without food or water for days. How many? Like I know, but I'm not planning on finding out…'

With that thought, I went through the hallways looking for anything to do in the apartments, all apartments on the 1st floor had electricity and water. I went through many apartments until I found one with a T.V and a big couch. Why isn't this room being used? And for some reason, it smells like cats in here... At this point Aizawa had left so I couldn't ask him about this.

I kept looking between apartments for a certain thing, but unfortunately didn't find it, I wanted to use a computer.

So with nothing to do, I just took a shower… or at least I wanted to as I remembered that I had no extra change of clothes.

Aizawa said that I couldn't do any shenanigans if he wasn't here, but I'm not gonna do something like fighting villains, not yet… 'So, if I just run toward the police station for extra clothes and food… I won't be in trouble, right?'

With these excuses I looked at the GPS that I still had, Minori told me to keep it along with the electrical tagging just in case. I marked the police station as my destination. First, I went down to the basement for some bandages to use like Aizawa for mobility. I wanted to try something that I thought of, I just wanted to have fun.

I went up the stairs. I wanted to get to the roof of the building, but it was locked so I went down 1 floor and opened the first apartment I could.

I entered and found one window to open and scanned everything outside, there were no people in sight.

'Good.'

I slid down the building and while using the wall as my footing, I jumped towards another roof. I still had the training weights on, I was just imagining them heavier, oddly enough, it was a bit hard trying to increase the effect of an object with Imagination Training.

But I kept going. I got used to the new weight on me rather quickly while going from the top of one building to another. I was still wearing my black clothes so I almost looked like a ninja. When I got comfortable with the weights, I started to use the bandages as a rope to swing between buildings, although I didn't really know how to use them like this, I just remembered the old man from before who Koichi called "Master".

'Wasn't there a superhero who did something like this… I'm pretty sure that it wasn't just personbat or whatever he was, he had something to do with arachnids.' I contemplated while swinging between buildings by attaching the badges on rails at top of buildings and lamp posts.

The trick was about seeing the bandages as your limbs. Maybe I was having too much fun doing this as I felt a lot of gazes on me…

I stopped swinging before getting caught on camera or something. I would only use the bandages for swinging between alleyways.

'It's really addicting, the feeling of the air on my face and the momentum that I build up between swings… Too bad that I might barely use this when I learn how to walk on the air…'

While swinging between one of the alleyways I found one pair of really "nice" people who were "asking" for a little change of money to a young man… 'I spent all my money on candies already, let's see if those "nice" people have some to spare, they might've forgotten that they had some and I might have to remind them…'

With those thoughts, I let loose of the bandage in my hand letting me fall slowly and running on the wall building momentum. If I used Super Step on a wall I could end up crashing into another one...

As I got closer to them I saw that the pair were 2 men, they wore bandanas with dark glasses on their faces and red clothing. With the momentum I built up I dropped kicked the one holding a bat while I tied the arms and torso of the other one.

Both of them were shocked, but I wasn't gonna let them recover and stomped the one I dropped kicked completely knocking him out. The other one finally recognized that they got ambushed and he stretched his hand into his pocket, he could barely move but managed to grab something which he injected himself with. At that moment I got the same feeling from him like I did with the giant villain.

"Get out of here!" I told the young man that the thugs were bullying, he nodded like a woodpecker and took off running.

I looked back at the one I had restrained and he suddenly started to grow long black hair out of his head ripping apart his own bandana and used it on the bandages restraining him, following that, his hair started to move towards me as if it were alive. His hair took a tail like form with a sharp point at the end of it, he used it like a whip and tried to hit me, the thug I knocked out before could've been smashed into red mush if I didn't move out of his range in time when I evaded the attack.

"GUH!! $$%*& HAA" The thug screamed incoherent words.

'It's like he has lost reason. Gotta finish this fast, it's no time to enjoy a fight right now.'

Walls on the alleyway were left with holes in them for being pierced by the hair or smashed into pieces, the buildings didn't fall yet but they definitely would if I didn't do something.

I threw the unconscious thug away and I started to jump between the walls of the alleyway trying to get outside of the sight from the hair thug. His hair kept growing and smashing or piercing anywhere I stepped on. I saw my opportunity and got my hands under a trash dumpster, I flipped it over and kicked it towards him, he just smashed it away and tried to strike where I was but I had disappeared.

As he didn't see me anymore, he looked around him and saw some bandages above him which he immediately attacked only for him to realize that it wasn't me.

I was behind the trash dumpster he smashed towards the wall. I relaxed my arm to the point that it moved around like a whip and…

Super Step & Whip Strike

He didn't have time to react to me getting close to him. I smacked him and my handprint was left on the thug's back, I saw him convulse in place only for his eyes to roll backward and faint. 'He couldn't even process the pain, huh.'

'I lost a lot of bandages with these thugs…' I looked at what I had left, I had just enough to tie the thugs again. I saw that the hair thug still had his long hair so I simply ripped it off… Not gonna be nice to someone like him, he almost killed his partner.

'Now that I think about it, I can sense something like a syringe from the other thug… I guess that I have a new reason to go to the police station.' So I took the syringe away from the still unconscious thug and also the one that the hair thug used too, although it was empty but it served as evidence.

Now with both of them tied up, I continued my way to the police station, with more weight on me this time… The GPS told me that I was 10 minutes away. But I started to hear police sirens from nearby.

I went to check just in case, it would be better to get the thugs in a car as it was kind of hard carrying both of them along with the weights on… I wasn't gonna take them off.

I stopped at the top of a building and saw the scene in front of me. An ambulance and a police car. Someone was being taken in a stretcher to the ambulance while there was someone who looked like a detective taking notes beside him.

"Hmn?" I noticed a cop with a cat-like appearance … It was the first time I saw a mutation type quirk since I came back from the forest, so I was quite weirded out.

'They are cops anyway, I'm gonna stop hiding.' So with the intention of being noticed, I started to descend from the building by jumping from the walls of another then hugging a pole near me and slid down, even with extra weight I was fairly agile.

While doing this, the cop noticed me.

"Detective, look over there." He pointed at me going down.

"Hm…? The way he carries them with bandages is like him…" The detective trailed off as I got close to them, one was a cat while the other one was a detective of course. He had short black hair and eyes, he was tall and wore a brown overcoat.

The cop- does he have a bell on his collar?!? I get that he is a cat but… UGH, anyway, he was wary of me so I spoke first. "Take me to the police station." And the cop was taken aback but the detective took a good look at me before speaking. "Who are those people you have on you?"

"Thugs."

"..."

"..."

"You'll have to wear these, you know?" The detective said as he took out some sort of restraints from the police car, I nodded at his suggestion.

___________

[A Few Minutes Later]

"Hey Minori!" Shiro greeted him as soon as he entered the police station.

Minori, who was enjoying his soda, had a weird reaction at the sight of a Shiro with restraints on hands, feet, and even his eyes. "PFFFt- *COUGH* wh-*COUGH*…..*Cough*" The detective and cop were surprised at the sight of the officer spilling most of his drink.

"...why-*cough*… why are you here...?" He asked weakly.

"Food," Shiro answered without any shame.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"...clothes also."

Minori just gave a tired sigh and got some napkins to clean his spilled drink.
