Chapter 3

This story is about two girls who were born in two different families. The Mendez family and The Shikongo family. These two girls happened to be twin sisters who were separated at birth.

There were two drug dealers and gangsters, Aleido Mendez and Greg Shikongo, who were friends at the same time. Years ago, when Greg was 25, he had an elder daughter, Miss. The two men got into an afflictive argument, which led Aleido into selling Miss out to human trafficking. Miss was only 6 by then. Greg was shuttered. So, when he found out Kate was pregnant with twins, he thought of a way to get back at his old friend, he waited for the day Kate would put to bed. He had his plan well organised, that the nurses in the delivery room were all in cahoots with him.

Greg asked the nurses to give false information that they had a stillborn daughter due to lack of enough oxygen during delivery.

Greg took the child in and named her Surina. On the other hand, Aleido and Kate lived with the lie all along.

As that was not enough to bring Aleido to book for his mischievous deeds, Greg manoeuvred Aleido into travelling to DRC in search of his daughter after apprising him that his daughter was alive but in the custody of a family that moved to DRC three years later.

Greg carried out all of that to get rid of Aleido to disaggregate the Mendez family without any intrusion. He surely resembled devils from the bottomless pit rather than men.

Aleido's grandfather, Mikka Mendez was a great foreseer. He knew a bond would form between the two ex-gang members and that decades of confusion awaits them.

Before he died, He wrote two books; one titled The other dagger and the other one titled The missing dagger, which he individually gave to second borns of the two drug dealers' generations. These were, Thug Shikongo (Greg's introverted younger brother) and O'Neal Ramsey (Kate's younger brother 'cause Aleido was his father's only child). With solid instructions that the books should be given to the second-born daughters of their second generation of the two families of the second decade after his death. These second borns of the second decade after Mikka's death turned out to be Sonia and Surina(Furore).
