Pray for Queen Revania

"Empress Helena?"

Harika's voice broke Helena's thoughts, returning her to her current world. And again, she realized that she was in the royal book room.

"Oh... Harika?" Said Helena was aware of her presence.

Harika's face, which had a typical Asian face, looked concerned at her.

"What are you thinking? Are you hungry?" Harika asked politely and closed the royal history book in front of Helena.

"Hungry? No, I'm still not hungry." Helena replied languidly. Suddenly she remembered the figure of her grandmother.

"Harika, is it possible for me to get out of the palace?

"What... out of the palace? What's wrong, Empress Helena? Is there anything you want to buy?" she asked back.

"Just let me go, and I can find what you need."

"No, Harika. I just want to visit my grandmother who is in the hospital. I want to know about her whereabouts. Is it possible? If I get out of the palace, even if only for a moment." Helena said, angrily.

"Empress Helena, for permission to leave the palace. You must have special rights granted by King Louis." Harika said, explaining.

"Yes, I know it." Helena's gaze dropped. When thinking of permission from the King? Just having him talk to her, felt hard even if it was only five minutes.

"Looks like King Louis won't give me his permission," Helena said desperately.

"Empress Helena, but you still have a chance, don't you?" Harika was sitting cross-legged in front of Helena. Her demeanor was still very formal. Keeping her distance from the empress was her direct superior.

"You mean Harika? Can you talk close to me? And stop being so formal. Besides, my age and yours aren't that much different. You're even older than me, aren't you?" Helena noticed the look on Harika's face, which suddenly turned confused.

"Empress Helena, you mustn't say things like that. However you are a King Consort, I still have to pay my respects." Harika immediately bowed respectfully and buried her face even more.

"Hh.. sometimes I'm very tired of all the rules in this kingdom. If only I could go back to my old life." Helena's hands began to support her study table.

"Being an ordinary person, without any burdens. Even though life is lacking, I can breathe as much as I want, even laugh to my heart's content. Hhh..." Helena began to imagine her previous life.

"Empress Helena, don't say things like that. It would be dangerous for anyone else to hear it. Like it or not, you are already part of the kingdom. And ... I must admit that you are very easy-going and good at lessons." Harika tried to remind again.

"For now, I suggest that you don't think of ideas... ideas that will get you into trouble. Now the most important thing is how I prove to Rima that I have helped you in various lessons." Harika continued at length.

"Yes, Harika, I'm sorry. Right now, I shouldn't be too selfish. I have to show Queen Revania that my brain can be useful," Helena said.

The conversation between the two women stopped when a male bodyguard entered the reading room.

"Greetings to Empress Helena." Said the guard and bowed respectfully.

"What is wrong?" Ask Harika first. And Helena listened intently.

"Message from King Louis, for all the empresses to be present in the prayer room. To pray for Queen Revania's recovery." Obviously.

"W...what?! Queen Revania? Is she sick?" Helena asked and got up from her seat. She immediately approached the guard.

"Tell me, what happened? Is the Queen all right?" Helena looks panicked and worried at the same time.

The guard glanced at Helena doubtfully. It was disrespectful to him to speak so closely to one of King Louis' consorts.

"Last night, Queen Revania fainted, and until now, her condition is in critical condition. Even this morning, King Louis has arrived from abroad. And asked all members of the kingdom to be present in the prayer room." Obviously him back.

Helena had changed into special clothes for prayer, with hasty steps she was already in the prayer room. It was a large hall, and there was only one large seat at the end.

The rest is just an elongated bulkhead board, and people who come can put their hands on the whiteboard. And they can start praying for the health of Queen Aarez.

Just as Helena arrived, all eyes were on her. Including the other two empresses, Dilara and Emira. They were holding back their amusement to see Helena was standing still at the doorway.

"What is so funny?" Helena thought, confused.

"Empress... Empress Helena moved a little out of the way." Harika said in a low voice, she was already inside, but her eyes looked down in fear. And Helena only reacted by frowning quickly.

"How long are you going to stand here, blocking the way in?" King Louis's deep and distinctive voice made Helena immediately turn around.

"King Louis?" Said Helena and looked at her sharp and vicious eyes.

Helena's intention to step back, and make way for the King. But in reality, he tripped over with her own feet.

"Ah! my feet." Said Helena, who had fallen on the floor.

All eyes turned to her, stared scornfully, and began to whisper softly.

What did the King do? Nothing!

Louis slightly removed his long shirt and didn't care about Helena was falling. He just passed Helena just like that.

"Empress Helena, come on, wake up." Harika had helped Helena to get up from her fall.

"Are you all right?" Harika asked when she saw Helena's face which is slightly grimaced.

"Looks like I sprained my leg a bit," Helena said and walked with a limp. "But it's okay. I can still endure it."

"Sister, look at that stupid empress. How strange is Revania choosing such a woman for the King?" Dilara pouted, whispering to Emira. But of course, Helena could hear her clearly, because the distance between the two of them was very close.

It seems Helena wants to reply to Dilara's words if only Harika's hand is held by her - her servant.

"Be patient, Empress Helena. Remember, we are in the prayer room with King Louis." Harika tried to warn her because she also saw Helena's face stiffen up.

However, Helena's manners are Harika's responsibility. If there is a mistake, then Harika will be responsible.

The prayer service had already begun, with King Louis and a middle-aged man leading the prayer. King Louis faced the royal members. Helena often straightened her face, stealing glances to see the King's face.

Unfortunately for Helena, when she's done it a few times. And finally, the two pairs of eyes met for a long time. The cold gaze was still given by Helena.

Helena, who realized her mistake, immediately lowered her gaze. "You're dead Helena, why are you so happy looking for it." Helena thought, who no longer dared to straighten her face.
