A Complete Victory for Mike

The referee standing on the blue ring shouted.

"The students whose names I have read out, please step forward."

Two students from the Law Faculty walked out.

They represented the Long-Range and Close-Combat Magic Departments respectively.

The two stood on their respective corners, and a gong sounded.

The battle began.

The student representing the long-range spellcasters used a lightning strike to accurately strike the close-combat spellcasters student in front of him.

The close-combat spellcasters student then used a palm fire.

A raging flame emerged from his palm.

After a few rounds of exchange, the long-range spellcasters student was defeated.

"First round... Win! One point."

Mike stood below the ring and watched the simple matches.

A dull, boring feeling welled up in his heart.

Even so, an untimely and violent shock began to form in Mike's mind.

Mike held his head with difficulty.
