Unaware of their shared connection, Lillian is initially fearful of the Demon of the Underworld.

But soon, she finds herself drawn to her husband, like a moth to a flame while the darkly dangerous mafia lord cannot resist the irresistible charm of his wife. 

She is his light. He is her doom. 

What will happen to this complicated love? Can they overcome all obstacles and live a happy life? Or will their nightmares ruin their newfound happiness? 

“Let the game begin!” Lucas declared.

 “What will I get if I win?” Lillian demanded. He put a finger under her chin to make her meet his eyes.

Trials of Fire & Love

"Madam, it's nearly time for the Master to arrive!" Elora hissed.

Lillian was in the bathroom, getting ready for the party. After they were done shopping, Elora had helped Lillian with her makeup and hair. Lillian was surprised to learn that Elora was a fashion student at her college which explained her obsession with clothes and makeup.

"I'm not very sure about this Eli!" Lillian's voice came from the bathroom. "Isn't it a little too much?"

"Trust me, Madam! You'll look stunning!"

Elora had finally found the perfect gown for Lillian and she was sure that her mistress would look beautiful in it. Gab was about to take pictures of it but Elora threw his phone away and threatened him not to talk about it. He whined but grudgingly agreed.

She heard the doorbell ring. It was 7 PM and Lucas had arrived on the dot.

He noticed Gab on the foot of the stairs, sulking. Upon seeing his boss, Gab's face lit up.
