Trip to Japan (1)

A bright flame was lit in the chimney, illuminating the Roman style living room where a lone man sat. The tuscany shaded walls were made of the finest marble while perfectly proportioned pillar arches were lined against them to create the illusion of symmetry across the room. The man was smoking a Cuban cigar and sipped freshly made wine fermented from Italian grapes.

He was in his sixties, a tall and well built man with thick grey hair. A butler arrived and bowed in front of him.

"Master Aidan is here, sir," he informed the man.

"Tell him to meet me," Andre Kim ordered. The butler nodded and left. After a few seconds, Aidan entered the living room and sat on a couch across from his father. He poured himself a glass of wine and addressed his father.

"You called me, dad?" he inquired.

"I'm still waiting on the update about Lucas Hao's land," Andre said. He flicked some ash into an ashtray and waited for his son to speak.
