chap. 3

Mova is a name that is literally coming from moving. It is a big winged and six legged blob of fluff. But normal ones have a brownish green fur but this one had golden-white. Furthermore it wasn't really slow wich could be because it is a child but the strangest thing was it wasn't pacifistic. It must be a mutation raised by humans and released to the wild as noone would by it. First of I should bring it back to my base of operation. The breeding of new variations of animal is allowed only under the supervision of the royal palace, wich means there are illegal aimal traders in the forest. They or broken out test subsects most certainly hunted down the goblins. Now that I solved the puzzle I only need a proof and then my investigation is finished.

A brown window(?) appeared before me. >status limitation sufficient. the rule of the world is bestowing you good skill >status< by integrating >status limit< into the soul<

It seems like the skill >status limit: normal< graded up instead of simply evolving. Evolving means the skill gets a fundamentally new funktion but an upgrade changes even the structure of a skill. >status limit< seems to limit the ability to temper with my skills. >status< on the other hand can show up my skills and with this window it determines the skills. That means if a skill is not in >status< then it doesn't affect me. But only listing up my skills is something even I could do with my current knowledge in array magic.

Well. I can't be distracted, the sleep array is based on poison so it will be a problem if the Mova gets resistant. So I tied up the Mova to the best of my abilities and dragged it back to my temporary base. I created a prison-array that is based on wind magic. It works by creating a downstream on the inside and letting the extra air flow up on the sides. The one inside has then trouble standing up and even crawling to the side will only create unnecessary harm as the differences in the windflow create a sharp blade so the theory.

If this Mova has hunted down the goblin, then there must be a place for it to store the corps or at least some sh*t with goblin bones in it but it would be hard ton trace down without a hint. So instead I would wait a few days, tame the Mova and then get back to my master. As I wait I can experiment with some of my skills. First of: >status<.

>true martial art: super 1< >magic perceptuion: extraordinarily 3< >ancient magic perception: normal 2< >status: good 1< >infinity: paper 2< >black cat, harbor of misfortune: extraordinarily 1< >perception: normal 2< >elemental magic: extraordinarily 1< >law magic: good 2< >magic: super 2<

Status seems to not have more functions then it said. It seems since I entered the forest my perception is now also connected with my taste. The ancient magic perception also leveld up since I used some ancient runes in my newly invented arrays like the shield or the prison. Other then that there isn't any real difference I mean what did I even hope for? Even this little bit of improvement is huge for this short amount of time.

The next magic item that I want to experiment with is something I want to keep a secret for you guys. Well at least let me say it like that, for now I only have weapons against one target at a time or with the SPS only for the distance. I need a new weapon that is good for masses, is fast and can be used regardless of the range. So it shouldn't have friendly fire...

Urgh, I worked till I fell asleep. It is now the next day and I got out to fetch something to eat and drink for booth me and the Mova. I should share the same food with him from the forest. The first reason is to build trust and secondly it should feel more comfortable with wild food. I got a few berries, edible leaves, spices, rock salt and a dash rabbit (naturally drained the blood with magic). For the food first you properly cook the flesh then pickle it with the berries and some leaves. Afterwards I added the spices and a little bit of salt. I then served it with the remaining leaves and a little bit of bread to the Mova and me. As I sat down I saw that it was still sleeping.

The scene was magical. The robes and the prison array couldn't restrain it's sleeping habits. It crawled up to a sunny place and then laid itself as flat as possible. Stretching out all of its limps and the wings. The golden-white fur shone very bright in the sunlight. The flat big face showed the satisfaction of ten people with its smile and the eyes where covered through big hanging black ears. When I used detoxification magic the Mova instantly smelled the food. It got up and began eating without hesitation from the plate. I was baffeld, am I a good cook?

Nonetheless it wasn't hostile to me so I released a sight of relief. It is so cute I wish I could keep it but I think it is time to return home.

So I packed my stuff and go home. On the way I defeated a few aggressiv animals and monsters. If you don't know there are three types of creatures in this world. The animals, the monsters and the demons. Animals have a magic core inside them, demons are bound to one and monsters can live without it. Humans have two of them, one is in there brain and one in the heart but you can live with one shattered in pieces.

Anyway I got out of the forest. I want to rest here for a short while but something is strange. The Mova is running away from me, along the forest side instead of forward or back to the forest. I feel my right side scorching and my left is freezing. The earth is trembling and cracks started to apear. A huge shadow appeared where I am standing in this moment. The only thing I saw before I had a blackout was >skill activated: skill description now available<.

This incident is later referred to as the Great Outbreak Sign but to this point noone knows what happened.
