Malkom leaned his head back, letting it rest on the stone wall of the cell. He couldn't believe he was sitting in the safest dungeon of Akaeth when all he was supposed to be doing was a pitiful excuse of a mission he had been so reluctant in accepting because he thought it wasn't good enough for him. Now, he couldn't even finish it. There was no way he could talk the kai readers into letting him out and shooting them, even if he had his gun, would only cause the mechanism to shut down completely, trapping him. His only hope had been to get one of the Soldiers to help him somehow but there weren't any around. His luck was running low these days.
