Chapter 16: Hiding in Yesterday, Part 6

Cyrus remembered the map he took from the hotel in his own time and pulled it out. "Check it out, Seth-we're only a few blocks away."

"Cool," answered Seth. "But with the flood, I hope they still have rooms."

"Good point," Cyrus said as they made their way along Akard. "You and I can share a room, of course. We'll have to hurry back for Katya."

As they started to head north, Seth exclaimed, "It's 1908-wow! Cyrus, have you ever been back this far?"

"Nope, never," Cyrus answered. "Katya and I went back to 1923, which is over the hundred-year mark, but we had no trouble at all returning home. Kat is the most powerful pilgrim I've ever met. I'm sort of surprised we can't get home now."

"It's the trauma we experienced, I'm sure of it," said Seth. "We're all exhausted, too. Then there is the possibility that we just won't be able to find our set points from these many years back."

"What's your oldest trip before this?" Cyrus asked.
