Dawn had concentrated so hard on home that she found herself on the ground in front of her new little house in Sunset Park. She not only made it back to 2037 but had moved in space as well.


"Damn, she pushed hard," she said to herself and then went inside and immediately tried to call her bosses. She couldn't get a hold of Cheryl but finally reached Kevin, who was notably distressed over hearing the news about Cathy. He instructed her to go immediately to the hospital to have her arm looked at and to stay home and rest until she felt well enough to come back to work. She felt physically and emotionally drained.


The next call she made was to Louie. She asked him to come over after work, but he refused, saying that there was something he had to do. He said he was glad that she was home, but something in his voice made her worry.


"This was not a good day," she said out loud to the wall.
