After their playground frolics, they got ice cream and penny candy. Just when Centehua thought their fun day was over, Howie revealed he had more plans.

"Have you ever ridden on a bus before?"

"No, where are we going?"

"You'll see, but we have to travel back further," he answered. "And we have to cross the street. Let's grab our coats and concentrate on 1960 in October. Ready?"

"Howie, mi corazón, help me on with my coat, por favor," she said, grinning.

Howie gave his usual tsk sound and heavy sigh but held the coat for her to slip into.

"Now are you ready, my needy Rose?" he asked.

"Okay, I will trust you," she said and grabbed onto his hand.
