Chapter 140: Almost Yesterday, Part 1

Sundial Headquarters, Greenwich, England

Martha Burgess was preparing countless scenarios in one of Sundial's two time-chambers. Only a handful of Sundial employees were allowed in these rooms. Martha didn't even let her boss, big Ben Hall enter them. The processes she used were originally pioneered by Helene Jaeger, Edmond's wife, and April's mum. But those early experiments wiped Helene irreparably out of existence.

Looking over her shoulder was a transporter technician named Richard Collins. He had learned everything he could from the senior transporters, Martha and Mister Zulu, and had successfully wiped out Eli Ingraham from Waltham National, as a test of his abilities. His gaze was drawn to her bright red nail polish as she manipulated a holographic display.

Richard was a pleasant looking man in his mid-thirties with a quiet demeanor.

"How are you this morning, Mister Collins?" asked Martha.

"Doing well, doing well...and you?" he inquired.
