Chapter 33

The old man didn’t answer. He simply opened the doors wider and waved them in.

Neivayka growled under her breath. Someone, somewhere, had better start giving her decent answers, or she was going to have a complete meltdown.

The old man led them through a spacious house into a wide room, that seemed to have been converted from a ballroom into a gathering room. At the very front were four chairs sitting behind a long hand-crafted wooden table. As they got closer, she could make out the carvings in front of each chair.
