They had almost made it to the front doors of the small modestly decorated building. It was hard to look at the place and think that it was one of the most important ones in the whole world. It was even more important than the castle itself.

The walls were nothing more than white stucco plaster all the way around. The only decoration it had was a colorful stained-glass window above the door with an intricate Celtic design that wrapped around a tree.

“It is the symbol of the Gods, their people, and the tree of life,” Steval whispered when he saw her staring. “It was meant to represent the balance that would bring peace and harmony to life, souls, and hearts.”
