"Would you mind explaining what that was?"

Ellie asked with a smile on her face, her eyes were filled with curiosity. While Edward kept a straight face, but she could tell he was also interested.

"Nothing..." said Ena looking away.

"We already saw it, there's no point in lying to us. Plus, we're already working with each other aren't we?" asked Ellie.

Ena didn't have any excuses to save her. She knew her ability would be found out one day, but she didn't know it was going to be like this. It wasn't as if she wanted to hide it from people, it was that she didn't need to yet.

She decided to tell them, but the story would be different.

"It's my magic." said Ena.

"Magic? I thought you were born without having any magic." said Ellie.

"Well, that was what was said, but in reality, They wanted to hide that I had magic since it would break the balance between the families. The doctors said my talent in magic was abnormal, it was something completely out of this world. If this was known in the public, there would definitely be an uproar between the families."

"So instead, my parents decided to hide it and tell everyone I didn't wield any magic at all. Although there were complaints and rash comments thrown, everything calmed down overtime. That was basically it. Just look at me, my intellect along with my magic, I'm too different from a regular eight year old, but this eight year old would break the balance between everything." said Ena.

Ellie and Edward stood still and processed the information they were given. Back then, having 2 children born with magic was already a blessing. If three children of the same family was born with the ability to wield magic, there was no doubt that there was might have been a small war between the families..

Ellie looked at Ena, although Ena was just an eight year old, her intellect was on par with adults from the royal family. Adding magic to her genius intellect, her existence was extraordinary, as if she was sent down by a goddess. Edward at the same thoughts, but most of it was how in the world an eight year old was this smart. Just thinking about it gave him an headache.

"What's your magic?" asked Ellie.

"You never said I had to tell you that, plus, everyone has secrets of their own...right?" Ena asked, looking over at Edward.

"Alright, we already have enough information we need." said Edward.

"*Sigh* Fine." said Ellie.

"What will we be doing now?" asked Ena.

"We're going to send you back." said Ellie.

"Huh?" asked Ena.

"Yeah, all three of us have been here for too long. I don't want Alden to get suspicious of us since it's all over if he does." said Ellie.

"What am I supposed to do with all the information I've been told?"

"Hide it, just don't tell anyone. Act like everything's normal and make up a story."

"It's not that easy..."

"Well, you're smart enough to do that. If you can't do that, your ability might be a waste." said Ellie.

"...."

Ena looked away, she was going to have to make up another lie again.

"How will I go ba-"

Before Ena could even say anything, everything went black.

When Ena opened her eyes, she was in a familiar area. She was laid across the grassy hill that was two blocks away from her house., the bright sun hit her eyes as she slowly got up. She didn't know how long has it been since the chamber she was in didn't have any clocks or ways to figure out what time it was.

Stretching herself, she started walking down the grassy hill, and walked towards her home. Taking a deep breath, she let the fresh air circulate through her lung, and healed her external injuries with her chi.

Once she made it back home, she felt nervous.

"Hahhhhh, let's just do this."

Straightening herself, she knocked the door a few times before it opened. When the door opened, Ena didn't know what to do, out of all the people in the house, it had to be her sister.

"Uh...hi-" Ena was crushed into a hug before she could even say anything, but she didn't pull away, she hugged back, and placed her head on her sister's chest.

"Ena, you better explain." said Alice.

"I will."

After they settled, they went to Alice's room, and sat on the bed.

"Start explaining."

"Alright, where should I begin? One day, I was going to the courtyard to train, and hone my skills. That was when a light suddenly appeared, I followed it to check out what it was, and that was when everything suddenly went dark. When I could see again, I was in an entirely different place. There were buildings but it wasn't well built like ours."

"The streets were crowded and nobody recognized me at all when I started walking around. The language they spoke was different and the people were even more different. Their technology was more advanced than hours...actually, everything was more advanced than ours except for the buildings. Over the past 22 hours, I've been looking around and trying to learn their language."

"But I failed miserably, when I rested on a chair, I felt something sharp hit the side of my hips. That was when I found out the bright light came from the violet stone, I missed a few things the last time I checked it out. Inside the disk, there was a blue gem that acted as mana fill. I think when I started to train, the stone somehow activated, and due to the high amount of mana released. I was teleported to an unknown place, luckily, it filled back up before a day. When I used it to come back, everything turned into ashes."

"And that's it." said Ena.

"That's-"

"Let's not think too much about it, let's celebrate my return instead." said Ena.

She didn't want to talk about this since it was just a made up story, she was only describing a place she visited in her past life.

"Okay, then let's go take a bath together."

"Eh? EHHH? W-WAIT-PUT ME DOWN!"
