Jealous Mrs. Li

The man looked at Yang Zi and smiled, "Oh, you have a girlfriend now. I'm surprised. May I have the honor to know this young lady's name?"

Before Li Jin could answer, Yang Zi said, "My surname is Yang."

"I see. Are you somehow related to the Yang of Imperial Jewels?" Mr. Xu curiously asked.

Yang Zi thought for a moment and nodded, "I am. I am the younger sister of the Imperial Jewels CEO."

"I see. Your brother, Yang Feng and I know each other. Send my regards to him." Mr. Xu said.

Yang Zi just nodded in response. She feels that something is not right with this man.

"Mr. Xu, we're going now." Li Jin said.

"Okay. By the way Jin'er, Qing'er is coming today from the US. You should see her soon. She keeps nagging me to know your schedule because she wanted to see you as soon as she landed. But I guess, today is not the right timing." Mr. Xu said as he looked at Yang Zi.

Li Jin noticed that Yang Zi was already uncomfortable, so he just said, "I am busy these days. Maybe soon, Mr. Xu. We will be going now." Then he left together with Yang Zi without waiting for Mr. Xu to respond.

The couple soon settled in the nearest cafe.

"I felt something's off with that man earlier, especially the way he looks at me." Yang Zi said to Li Jin.

"Don't worry about that. No matter what, I am here to protect you." Li Jin comforted her. He is also wary of that man.

"Oh, by the way, who is Qing'er?" Yang Zi asked curiously.

"She is Mr. Xu's daughter. Xu Qing." Li Jin answered.

"Do you know each other?" Yang Zi asked.

"You can say that, but I really did not have much a recollection of her. Why?" Li Jin said as he looked at her.

"Nothing much. I just thought you were close because Mr. Xu said that she wanted to see you." Yang Zi said. She really felt uncomfortable.

"I don't know. Maybe because of business. I forgot to mention, Mr. Xu is the owner of Crown Jewelry. But I heard he will be training his daughter for the position of CEO." Li Jin said.

"I see. Then that explains everything." Yang Zi said as she drank her glass of milk. Since she does not like coffee, she prefers milk in the morning.

Li Jin was a bit confused, then finally got what Yang Zi means. "Don't worry about that. Just focus on improving yourself. He won't harm you knowing that I am by your side. "

"I'm not worried about that. I think that his daughter likes you." Yang Zi blurted out what she is thinking.

Li Jin momentarily stopped drinking his coffee and lightly chuckle. "Are you jealous, Mrs. Li?"

Yang Zi was stunned, her cheeks suddenly turning red, and immediately said, "No! Why would I be jealous? I don't even know her."

Li Jin observed her behavior and he can't help but kiss her cheeks making her frozen.

"Hey, why did you do that?" Yang Zi immediately covered her face in great embarrassment.

"I'm sorry, wifey. Can't help it, you are so adorable." Li Jin with a smile between his lips.

"You should not do that. We are in public." Yang Zi complained.

"Do you mean I can kiss you when we are alone?" Li Jin said while grinning.

"You-Can you stop acting like a hooligan, Mr. Li?" Yang Zi was caught surprised by this man's shameless behavior. This does not make sense at all!

Li Jin laughed lightly, causing her heart to skip a beat, AGAIN. Is she really falling for him?

"Fine. I'll stop teasing you. Shall we go now?" Li Jin asked her as he looked at his watch.

Yang Zi nodded in response.

A slender figure of a woman with long black hair strode to the exit of the airport, grabbing the attention of many people. Noticing their gazes filled with admiration, she smirked and walked elegantly.

As she stepped outside the airport, she immediately heard someone calling her name. "Qing'er!"

"Dad!" Xu Qing immediately walked towards the source of the voice. It was her father, Xu Jinhai.

Xu Qing immediately hugged her father and said, "I miss you so much, Dad. How's Mom?"

"She's waiting for you at home. We should hurry." Mr. Xu said as he opened the car's door for her.

Xu Qing smiled and nodded as he stepped inside the car.

"Dad, did you check Jin's schedule today? Is he free this afternoon? I am planning to visit him today. I bought him some presents." Xu Qing said as her eyes brighten with the thought of Li Jin, her first love. She's been studying all these years abroad so that she can match up to Li Jin's status.

"He is busy today, Qing'er. I actually meet him earlier nearby the airport." Mr. Xu said to his daughter.

"Really? Why did you not tell me? Maybe he is still nearby. I want to see him." Xu Qing frowned at his father.

"Qing'er, tell Daddy honestly. Do you really like Li Jin that much?" Mr. Xu asked her.

She immediately nodded and said, "Of course. Li Jin is the only man who can match my standards. Only me is deserving to stand by his side. You know that, Dad."

Mr. Xu sighed deeply, "But I guess, he does not like you Qing'er."

Xu Qing was shocked at his father's words, "Why would you say that, Dad? Li Jin is single. He must be waiting for me to return."

"But he already has a girlfriend. He was with his girlfriend earlier when I meet him." Mr. Xu said to his daughter.

"No, it's not his cousin." Mr. Xu said in an affirmative tone.

"And why would you say that?!" Xu Qing's voice started to raise. She must be Li Jin's, only woman. No one can take that place from her. Li Jin is hers!

"I'm sure because the woman he's with is the Young Miss of the Yang Family." Mr. Xu said to her raging daughter. He can only sigh helplessly.

"What? Do the Yangs have a daughter? How come I did not know that?" Xu Qing calmed down a little.

Mr. Xu nodded and said, "Not many people know that the Yangs have a daughter because I heard that she's not living with her family for several years."

"What? Why?" Xu Qing is now curious about Yang Zi. She must know her so that she can deal with her as soon as possible.

"I'm not sure for the reason. I only heard that she will be working at their company." Mr. Xu said. He can't find much about Yang Zi because the Yangs are keeping Yang Zi's whereabouts all these years for her safety.

Xu Qing kept silent momentarily while thinking. A while later she tilted her head and looked at the scenery outside the window, and said, "What is her name?"

"I guess it's Yang Zi." Mr. Xu said to her daughter.

"I see." Xu Qing nodded.

Looking at her daughter's calm behavior, he was curious what she is thinking so he asked her. "What are you thinking, Qing'er?"

Xu Qing smiled at his father and said, "Nothing much, Dad. How's the company?"

Mr. Xu sighed and said, "Everything's fine. We were able to snatch one of the Imperial Jewels business partners."

"Imperial Jewels? If I am not mistaken, that is owned by the Yangs, right?"

Mr. Xu nodded in agreement. "Yes, they are our biggest rival."

Xu Qing's eyes brighten, "Dad, will you let me take over the company?"

Mr. Xu was stunned at his daughter's sudden proposal. "Why?"

Xu Qing smiled as she looked at her father's face. "Well, I think Li Jin's taste for women is not that mediocre. He would certainly choose an outstanding woman over a woman with a mysterious background. Who knows what that woman has done towards Jin'er that she was able to hook his attention. Besides, I don't think Auntie Li will accept her."

Mr. Xu thought for a moment. As an ambitious businessman, he cares for his company's future benefits. If he can let her daughter marry a person like Li Jin who wields great power, their company can immediately surpass the Imperial Jewels. With that thought, greed immediately filled his eyes.

"Alright. Next week, I will let you handle the company. I believe that you can manage the company well. And you should pay the Li's a visit. Madam Li is fond of you. She must have missed you." Mr. Xu said to his daughter.

Xu Qing smiled brightly and hugged his father's arms, "I will, Dad. I missed Auntie Li as well. Thank you so much, Daddy. You are the best. I won't let you down, I promise."

Mr. Xu patted his daughter's head in response. He was so engrossed with his fantasy that he did not notice Xu Qing's eyes darkened.
