90) Old Friends

Vasili

It was another snowy day in Moscow when I woke up and decided to do something I had not done in months. Every month I would visit my mothers restaurant, order a cup of coffee and one of her signature cupcakes. It was one way for me to feel close to her now that she was gone. Afterwards I would visit her grave and put roses on her tombstone because they were her favorite.

I would place one rose for my father out of respect for him and go back to the theatre for practice. Now that I had been gone I felt slightly guilty that my routine had stopped. I knew Yavok visited her every few weeks so it was not completely abandoned.
