168) To Dance with the Devil

Edward

It was Monday morning when I felt a rather aggressive shove startling me awake. I sighed when I remembered I was not in my own silk sheets and custom bed. I was going to need a masseuse every day when I got back home just to get my back, back to normal. I groaned before opening my eyes and out of my worst nightmares there was Ace's face. I must have been in hell.

"What do you want?" I sighed as I sat up and adjusted the brace on my thigh.

"I know what my father is planning tomorrow," he leaned against the wall as I stood up and reached for the crutches.

"And what is it?" I looked over my shoulder as I passed him and headed for the bathroom. I splashed water onto my face as he leaned against the doorframe. When I was done I reached over for my toothbrush.
