Chapter 6

After Scar planted the middle grade, aloe vera, spiritual plant, which has a wide range of healing properties and can efficiently purify the air. She gained 20 points, replenishing her depleted points, since she had literally used up all of her points to get the recipes for the antidotes. At least she doesn't need to pay anything to learn how to make it, after all, she already had made some in her previous life, she just needed to know the ingredients.

"I have already tried out almost everything that you have made available System, I have unlocked some books, cooked for people, planted herbs and treated someone. Can't you tell me what function you still haven't showed me? Pretty please?" Scarlet asked the System cutely.

[The Host's Worldly Information category still seems to be deserted.]

"Right. That is why I said almost, I am only missing information trade. But seriously, everytime I think about this trade of information, I associate it, with the underworld from my previous life. Like something of the mafia, I will be able to open an information guild." said Scarlet while fiding it funny, "Maybe I can also guide people in cultivation, since there is no way I would give anyone the cooking recipes and medical prescriptions from the Knowledge Hall, but there is nothing stopping me from trading information besides the news of what is happening in the worlds, like, for example, about cultivation methods and manuals." she thought.

Pov from a cultivator from Azgal world (another low tier world besides Laimyra)

I came to Laimyra from the Azgal world to scout if what my sect heard about there being cultivators dabbling with devil arts here, planning to go to our world was true. But as luck would have it, the portal I took ended up in the fourth layer of the Wingtar region, and since I am an Elemental Establishment early realm cultivator, I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. Yet, while I was on my way out of the innermost part of the region, I happened to see an unbelivable sight.

I saw a big golden courtyard in the middle of this dangerous part of the forest, and right outside of it, there was a human girl with 2 magical beasts in their human forms and an adult Fenrir with its youngling, all eating together. Since when was a Fenrir this friendly to actually eat together with other beasts and even a human?! Where is the bloodthirst that the Fenrir is known to have against humans?!

More unbelivable, was that I couldn't sense any cultivation coming from that girl. Was she that much stronger than me, for me not to be able to sense it? After all, if she isn't strong enough there is no way she would be able to be this friendly with high tier magical beasts, when they are known for their pride and respect for strength. I thought there wasn't supposed to be a Heavenly Immortal cultivator anywhere besides the upper tier worlds. Is she from one of them (Sathir and Dralthor)? What is she doing in Laimyra? Anyway, I will have to report this to my sect, she isn't someone we can provoke. She is probably an elder from a faction on an upper tier world coming to play on the lower worlds (since cultivation increases longevity, there is no way of knowing her age).

Just when the cultivator was going to go back to his mission, Scarlet, after being informed by Ragnar that there was a human observing them on their side, called ou to him.

"The cultivator over there. Are you just going to keep on watching us?" the human girl questioned him while looking his way.

Being called out so suddenly the cultivator was flustered and said panickedly wiht a bow "I am sorry for disturbing your time, elder."

"Elder? Do I look that old to you?" the cultivator heard the girl saying.

"No! I didn't mean that, you look extremely young, I am the old one seeing as my vision is already failing me." the cultivator paled and quickly refuted, trying to correct his mistake. There is no woman that would like to be called old, I should be happy that this senior seems to have a good temper.

"What is your name?" the girl asked

"My name is Isaac." the cultivator responded respectfully while not knowing how to adress the senior in front of him.

"Do you want to eat something Isaac?" the girl asked while pointing to a board, that was nailed to the front wall of the building, with names of dishes and beside some of the names the price was of a medical herb, while for the others and more complex/ higher grade ones the price was of a spiritual plant. There were three boars in total, the second board was for medical treatment while the other, it said that if you have information which you deem valuable, you can exchange for dishes/ treatment or for other information, after its worth is analysed.

Isaac didn't know how to feel after reading all of this, is she trying to do charity? After all, with her cultivation she can get any sect to give as many herbs, spiritual or not, as she wants. Besides, that food is clearly superior to anything I have ever seen, just the aroma alone is making me salivate, and you can even eat meat of high grade magical beasts. And someone of her status is even offering to give treatment and information, maybe I can get her to give me some tips on my cultivation.

No! I don't know who she is, even though she isn't someone I can provoke, that doesn't mean she is trustworthy, she may lead my cultivation to stray. Maybe she could be here to gather intel/ spy on cultivators from the middle and upper tier worlds, since they would let their guard down in front of someone they believe doesn't have cultivation and is from a lower world. If I hadn't seen the scene of her eating with a Fenrir before, that could be me.

Regardless, considering that she asked me, I will eat one before continuing my way. I should choose at least one that costs a spiritual herb, that will be enough to give her face.

"I would like a barbecued pork that has been marinated in the eponymous sauce (including ingedients such as soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice wine, and star anise), with fried dumplings and a dessert salad." Isaac said while entering the safety perimeter, since he deemed Scarlet as someone he should't provoke, it extinguished any ill intentions that he could have towards her.

He took another table and chair from inside the restaurant and put it down further from the magical beasts that have been ignoring his existence since he appeared. The two that were on human form even transformed back into their beasts. He would much rather eat inside the building if it meant being further away from that Fenrir that has been directing an overwhelming pressure at him, but since all of them, even the girl was eating outside, he didn't know how to say it. And it seemed like she didn't sense anything from him.

When the girl came out with the dishes, a strong fragrance like the one he smelled when he saw the beasts eating permeated the environment, and just as she put down the dishes in front of him, he heard the Blue Tiger saying something for the first time.

"We are leaving, Scar." the Blue Tiger said curtly but with some friendness to the girl, it seemed like my presence is the cause for them not talking more and leaving. But that is good, I will be much more confortable that way, or so he thought, because only the Blue Tiger and the Phantom Cat got up, the two Fenrirs stayed lying down next to a tree lazily.

"Ok, bye bye, be sure to come back later." the girl, who seems to be called Scar, said to the two as they left.

"Oh, that's right. I still haven't introduced myself, my name is Scarlet, but you can call me Scar. So, what brings you to Wingtar region?" Scarlet asked.

"...Well..." after some hesitation Issac still said what he came to do, who knows maybe if she meets them she could stop the devil cultivators for them, since it is the duty of every orthodox cultivator, "I came to Laimyra from the Azgal world to see if it is true the information we received about devil cultivators intending to come to our world." he said

"I see. That is indeed worrying." Scarlet said while thinking about something completely different.

"Yes, so now that I have finished eating, I will have to continue on my way. When I am done with my mission maybe I will stop by here again. Thank you for the delicious food, and here is the spiritual herb, Rheum officinale." Isaac said as he took out the herb from his interspatial ring.

"Yes, be sure to do so. And you can tell me how your mission went then. It will be good to know if devil cultivators are planning to come to Wingtar region." Scarlet said

"Very well." Isaac said and left while thinking that maybe this senior will stop these unorthodox cultivators, if they exist, when they come to Wingtar, after all it is her territory, technically.

Pov of Scarlet

As she watched Isaac leave she thought about how weird he is.

He called me an elder, when I am not old and neither an important person.

He ordered a dish that costs a spiritual herb in a place he hasn't even heard of to know if it is trustworthy, either he is rich or an idiot.

He always talked respectfully, like he was walking on thin ice.

He also entered the safety perimeter without any difficulty, I don't know if I should be glad or worried that he is so naive that he doesn't even think about backstabbing or anything of ill intetion. Though maybe it was because it had been a while since I last saw a human that I was surprised. After all, what kind of human being doesn't have any ulterior motives or ill intentions, it is human's ugly nature, embedded deep into our bones. Maybe, it is because I am living a lot with magical beasts this past few weeks, but I much prefer their straight forward attitude than the human intentions hidden their smiles.

And he was also like a creep, watching us from a distance behind a tree, luckly Ragnar was here and told me.

But, he did bring me some happy information, I hope that those devil cultivators that he was looking for exists, after all, even if their cultivation methods are unorthodox, they are still people, and that means more customers and points. Besides, I am not even a cultivator so there isn't any reason to be enemies with them.

"System, how many points do I have in total now?" Scarlet asked.

That is good, I am gaining around 20 points for dish, if only I could always ask for them to always bring the meat, I could have saved around 35 points (what costed for buying the ingredients for everyone), but then it would be diffidult to have a variety of high grade meat, since they would have to hunt especifically for each one. At least I am having profit so I guess I shouldn't complain. Let's go plant my new spiritual herb.
