Hello There

The ground is rapidly approaching, the cybermite has all its legs pointed down to absorb impact and has closed its "eyelid" to protect its eye. It's really more a sensor and can be fixed easily but the mite shouldn't waste any resources right now. 10...9...8

splat..... ( not rly tho)

The count was off, guess that ride through the timestream messed it up more than originally thought. It does a system boot, lo and behold... a perfectly fresh corpse just waiting there. A quick scan later, the body was male, approximately 16 years old, and had a janky ass genetic sequence... at least compared to what the mite has on humans in its database. He's been dead ( no heart beat ) for about 3 and a half minutes. One mite isn't enough to just turn him into a latest generation cyberman... so some simple cyberization will be done to reanimate the body and preserve as much of the brain that's left as possible. The boy suffered a bad fall, weather or not it was on purpose is unclear. His left arm broke his fall a bit, the damage is manageable should he successfully be brought to life. The left lobe suffered severe damage so it will take the majority of the mites power to fix. The plan the mite had in mind changed over and over until it came to a conclusion.

Step 1. Reanimate the body, keep as much organic as possible.

Step 2. Find a way to generate more 2nd gen cybermites.

Step 3. Find a way to infest as many organic bodies as possible.

Step 4. Set up a Cyber Planner.

Step 5. Mass convert all organics infested by cybermites.

Step 6. ??????

Step 7. Profit.

Step 8. Convert all organic beings on planet into cybermen.

Step 9. Find new planet with life to convert.

Step 10. Rinse and repeat.

The mite will use up all its power to get basic systems and manufacturing up and running. So it will need to hide among this planets people until it can " reproduce". For that, the body will have to be relatively organic. It's decided, the cybermite will take over part of this humans left brain lobe. Then use a combination of its nanomachines and the body's enhanced healing speed to fix up the rest of the damage. Hopefully, once the brain wakes up the knowledge the cybermite will have access to will be useful. In less than 1 minute the damage had been repaired and the brain began to regain consciousness. The cybermite will have to immediately hijack the brain before that happens, If this person somehow has a strong will, the mite will lose control and both of them will die. The moment the human opened its eyes the cybermite spread its tendrils around shocking neurons left and right.

" Arrrghgh!!"

The human boy began to spasm.

This feels familiar...

The cybermite has no idea the human is fully conscious, and somehow enduring the pain of his neurons being overwritten.

Yeah.. this reminds me of when.... you close an application on your phone but the audio keeps playing...

Now that the left lobes biological bits are repaired and the cybermites body inflated and changed shape to take up the rest of the available space in the skull, the connection between this boy and the mite was fully established. Only one thing went through the " mind" of the mite

Huh??

A tiny brzzzt of electricity later and... well the real story begins now so pay attention.
