Vicky's Reality

Vicky did not want to ask what the captain told Connor, so she decided to quiet down, and let her father speak.

"Vicky! Max knows when someone's losing themselves. He told me once too… he told me my eyes were starting to turn cold," Connor said, he looked at Vicky and continued "The only thing that kept me from becoming a monster was you, and your brother. How was I supposed to look at you and Leo after turning into a monster?"

"Dad! Sometimes… you need to become a monster. Because that's the only thing left. You've tried to do things… in every other way you can think of, but it never worked," Vicky said in a soft voice.

"Vicky! You're not always going to win. It doesn't matter if you're the good guy… or the bad guy. No one wins all the time," Connor said. Vicky smiled.
