For Vicky, vengeance took an unexpected turn when it led to a whole lot of new events. She found another survivor, someone she thought she lost. Eventually, avenging her brother, she faces betrayal, and finds the dark past of her parent’s murder.

Vicky finds herself in the center of something she never thought she would. She learns more about her mother’s secrets, and her work with the company that built the VR technology.

Vicky's Reality

Matt locked the door behind them, and turned to Vicky.

"Looks like your new powers come with a catch," Matt said. He casually sat on the chair again, and took off his mask.

Vicky stared at him, and then took her mask off.

"What now?" Vicky asked. When she opened her mouth, cold smoke came out.

"What are you like an Ice Queen now?" Matt asked. He had a small smirk.

"Hmm.. at least I have powers, unlike someone," Vicky replied. She smiled, and then looked at her father. "Dad! I'm sorry!"

"It's okay!" Connor replied. He patted her head.

Matt chuckled. Connor looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Have anything to say?" Connor asked.

"Nope!" Matt replied. He composed himself, and gave Connor an indifferent look.

"Maybe you should log out, until we figure out what to do about all this," Connor said.

"I can handle it, dad," Vicky replied. She continued, "Plus I just need more training!"
