Feeling alone

"We are having dinner with them next Saturday"

what! already a dinner?

"mom! I can't believe you are my mom!"

Sofia was now sure that someone has got into her mother like why is she even behaving like a person she's not

"I'm not going on any dinner! and that's final!"

stroking her feet on the ground Sofia stormed upstairs.

what is happening with me? I didn't come here to face this! and I don't even know that man! why my own mother is doing this with me! she can't just throw me out of my own house! who can she do this to her own daughter?

Sofia was walking back and forth in her room, her mind was full of unwanted thoughts, she couldn't believe what is about to happen in her life.

but she was sure of one thing she was a spoiled kid and she still is she can't just let anyone control her life like that even if it's her own mother she can't just marry a stranger she has never even met before

"what if he's an old man what! no no no

I believe my mom can't do this with me! but what if it is the truth!" speaking to her own self Sofia was going through a lot of emotions

the next day

Sofia woke up pretty late as her mother didn't wake her up, last night was a disaster for her beauty sleep, she couldn't even close her eyes, she was just thinking about what her mother said, her words were revolving around Sofia's head

waking up she looked at the wall clock

as it was already 2:00 pm

"haaaa" yawning with her mouth wide open she sat up before looking at her phone on the side table

"What is this?" looking at she saw that someone had called her at least 20 times while she was sleeping

she rubbed her eyes to get a clear vision, and there it was none other than her talkative friend Jeanie, she literally called her early in the morning knowing Sofia would be asleep

calling back Sofia put her phone in her ear waiting for Jeanie to pick up

"helloooooo!" a sudden cheerful yet loud voice made Sofia's eyes wide as she pulls her phone a little far from her ear

"can you please low the volume of your loud voice, your voice will make my ears bleed someday!" Sofia expressed in her sleepy voice as she yawns again

"were you still sleeping?"

"yea! and what's wrong with that!"

"no nothing! you know I'm so happy to be back here!"

"yea I'm also so happy I can't explain my happiness into words"

Sofia spoke annoyed knowing the table have turned. yesterday Sofia was the one who was happy to be back here and thought it would be another adventure, well it turned out to be an adventure but this adventure was far from her liking

and today she is regretting her life decisions why did she even come back

her life that she lived flying like a free carless bird was going to get kept in a cage

and this is exactly what she didn't want

Sofia hanged up the call after listening to Jeanie's story and got up to get fresh, she came out after taking a bath, wearing a plain large sized black tee with the same colored shorts her white hair which were wet as she just came out of the shower she wrapped up a towel around her head and made her way downstairs to the kitchen,

her stomach was growling like a hungry lion, she didn't eat anything after that argument with her mother nor she got out of her room, and now she was starving to death

where is my mom! did she already leave?

what about my breakfast?

(more like lunch)

Sofia stop in the kitchen looking all sad

after searching for her mother everywhere, but she has already left for her work without any sweet good morning like she used to do

*sign* Sofia you can just order something!

but I would have to wait for that!

what else you can do huh! you don't even know how to cook,

after a long discussion with her own self Sofia finally conclude that she doesn't know anything about cooking and now the only thing she can do is to order something

not having anyone on her side at the moment, she felt alone for the first time after her Father's death~
