Baal licked the blood off of his lips as he glanced over all the dead Tirtouga's on the beach. He dipped the tirtougas in the water before dragging the individual Bodies into a discrete area to be able to pile them up. Their bodies were now drenched in saltwater which would reduce the stench of the dead bodies.
After completing all of that, Baal finished making a list of things that he needed to complete.
Firstly, He needs to get his rip off tattoo again, it was too useful to pass up. Secondly, He needed to return to his physical peak, meaning he has to spend some PP points on that special meal. Thirdly, He needs to understand how to manipulate the energy of this world to reduce the costs of buying moves from the system.
After killing all of the Tirtougas on the beach, he focused on his stats again,

Baal started sketching what seemed like a crude image of a book. He then went on to define it as,

The Knowledge in the book is on how to manipulate Elemental Aura, the best exercises to do improve different inclinations, How talent and Mastery over pokemon moves work and the best supplementary items for a pokemon's growth in power.]

"Yes," Baal growled 'I no longer need Chakra as Raiden is dead so It should at least find some use in this exchange. Also, can you create a new tab on the stats page and name it Items'
Abruptly, a brown leather book started forming in the air as it dropped down in front of Baal. He placed his hand on it as a rush of information started flowing into his mind. A voice started narrating a passage from this book to him, the voice was of an old man. Calmly speaking, he narrated on the subject of Aura Manipulation and the talent behind it...
"In this world, Energy works similar to how nen does in HxH. There are 3 Main Aura types and 2 subcategories yet these are not based on personality but biology. Each pokemon has a genetic predisposition to either Enhancement, Manipulation or Specialisation. This would mean a Fire-type that is a manipulator would find shaping Aura easier than an enhancer Fire-type.
A Manipulator Fire-type would hence find it easier to perform Special and status moves such as will-o-wisp than e.g. an Enhancer. On the other hand, an Enhancer Fire-type would be able to use simpler, physical moves but to a much more frightening degree of power. An example would be Fire Punch. Emission and Transmutation are essential to any use of a move, They are more of a process because using a move needs you to emit your aura and transmute it into fire.
This causes dual inclinations even within the 3 Major Categories as a Manipulator-Transmuter can output, for example, an Ember of Blue fire as the aura is transmuted into a hotter, higher quality fire but they may not emit much of it. On the other hand, A Manipulator-Emitter may output more fire when using ember but it would be of the average orange-red colour.
Most special pokemon such as Psychic, Dragon and Fairy-type pokemon are usually Specialisation inclined but can also then be enhancement or manipulation inclined as well. I have been your Narrator today, Men Tifery"
The voice finished its explanation...From what Baal understood, basically, it's like nen types but conjuration doesn't exist!
"System can you show me a chart of what my Aura inclinations are?" Baal asked before the system beeped and showed a chart.

"Well fuck. I'm a spec-Manipulator with a better Transmutation than Average" Baal growled, "I'm going to have to focus on improving my enhancement to at least 60% in the future."
He decided to wait until the eggs that the Turtles laid would hatch, he'd eat them as a booster before he went off to explore the water.

A few months passed as Baal grew stronger and yet he still hadn't taken a step outside the cave. He worked on improving his Enhancement Nen and learning new moves as that is what he needs to go with his Attack and Speed focused Stats. He figured that after his Monstrous Speed IV, his attack IV would be his highest IV Stat.

"Damn, it's truly annoying that all of my special moves are at a higher level than most of my physical moves and it's even harder to learn moves that aren't your type...but not impossible like in the games. At least I'm close to evolving though. With the help of eating those Tirtougas though, I managed to get myself one Intermediate move." Baal complained internally, "Now system, show me my Nen Chart"

Baal nodded. With this, He felt confident enough to be able to take on the rock sea lion if it appeared near him. He looked back at the place he called home for the past few months and smiled. Although...This place looked more like a graveyard as there were splashes of blood everywhere, the only thing left of the Tirtouga's were the shells as they were too dense to consume, not even the marrow was left on the insides of these shells and they littered the entirety of the cave as Baal would take parts of the tirtougas as snacks when he was training.
If anyone saw him, they'd call him either a peak predator or a weirdo!
Sure enough, the eggs started to hatch and before any of them could even open their eyes, Baal had descended upon them. With a swift ember to their shells, the smell of cooked turtle dispersed into the atmosphere. The shells on their backs were still soft so Baal ate them whole.
"mhm. Crunchy on the outside...soft on the inside. I like it" His eyes widened at how amazing these snacks were tasting.
Ping!
It would seem that he had levelled up to level 15, one more to go. Once he finished his snacks, he moved towards the water and with one last glance at the cave, he jumped out of the water backwards like a dolphin before curving back and diving under.

It felt weird breathing underwater like this. It feels like my body constantly has an abundance of oxygen due to the sheer efficiency of these gills. My body feels so much more comfortable being in the water, feeling my scales moist with the water was possibly one of the best feelings ever. I panicked slightly when I first couldn't feel myself actually inhaling air but soon I calmed down after realising I was passively exchanging my carbon dioxide for oxygen with the water.
All of my senses seemed to adapt quickly to being underwater as I could see clearer than I could on land and even my hearing was much better underwater.
It would seem that once I'm fully evolved, my only competition would be whatever is currently the Gyrados of the ancient world and...Carracostas. I don't know about that new pokemon game based in England, I only saw some leaked footage of those two legendary doggo's, but Carracosta was always my favourite fossil in Gen 5, the thing used to eat Omastars for breakfast and it had access to Shell Smash, That thing made it OP.

If anything, I'll just end up training or eating some grass types to gain their grass-type moves. I dived deeper and found that it really was an underwater cave. I twisted and twirled around the stalagmites that littered this small watery passage as my body was now completely adapted to the water.
I finally saw the wild, expansive ocean and yet...I saw twilight. There was very little light in this area and immediately understood I was most likely in the deeper part of the shallow zone of whatever this body of water is.
I closed my eyes so that my other senses could be maximised. I managed to build a mental map of a 1km diameter sphere around me. There weren't many things that could threaten me on the map and they were all lower than me so as long as I kept towards the top, I would be alright.
I immediately swam towards a shoal of fish which were towards the top edge of the spherical map... They seemed to be a shoal of relicanth, great!
I guess it's Tuna Steak Tonight?
