CH.5. A Start to my training

Hm? Oh hi! It seems that you came back, it had been some time since I woke up so I guess I should recap some stuff. So after finding out where I was, I began to get a bit hungry. So I used my time stop skill and looked for something to fill my stomach, long story short I had to look everywhere. I did find a bunch of animals and plants but most of them were poisonous, so I kept looking.

It took me a while to find something that was edible but it was tiny, like the size of my paw only. It was in the roots of this giant ass tree, It looked kinda like a seed but was just really broken up. It tasted damn good too! Kinda like those chocolate truffle things, but stronger.

It took me some time to find more but when time doesn't matter it is much easier. They tasted good but didn't fill me up at all. A damn shame if I've ever seen one.

I had to continue looking for food and after searching for a while I managed to find a giant egg, at least five times my height. But there was a problem, The egg had parents who were coiled around the egg.

Now you are all caught up. So, how am I gonna get that egg? Could I just kill the parents and eat them along with the egg? Yeah! I think that could work. With my goal in mind, I rush over to the snakes, and only then do I realize I made a mistake.

They are fucking huge! Like I don't think I have ever seen an animal that big. Can I even kill these things? Just the sheer amount of meat I would have to go through to get to something vital could take way too long. Agh, Man, how the fuck am I supposed to do this. Know what, fuck this bullshit, I can take both of them out.

Just gotta keep digging, Repeat the digging mantra. Practically running to them I jump as high as I possibly could and land on the snake's slippery and scaley body. Trying and failing to pierce its scales with my claws forced me to bite the snake open. It wasn't efficient but I didn't care, I was hungry and I found food.

Many chomps were taken out of the snake, most for my hunger, some for fun, and none for my original purpose. Eventually, I had managed to reach its spine and went all the way past its vertebrae and into its skull. Munching on its flesh I noted that I felt stronger, more durable.

'Ding! 12k gold added. + 10 Strength and Magic. Your senses seemed to be enhanced.'

Oh, guess I killed it. Damn, look at those rewards though, more strength and magic just from eating some food. Well, I haven't even finished my meal yet so I shouldn't be getting distracted. Continuing with my meal I notice that I am still hungry, the only difference being that instead of feeling like I am starving now I feel a craving for something. It's fucking annoying.

After what I believe to be an hour or two more I finally eat the last piece of meat on the giant snake's skeleton. I don't even know how I was able to eat so much looking at this skeleton, and there is another big snake right next to me. But sadly, I am kinda tired so I am gonna go to sleep.
