When Sheyken reached the other side, he felt like he was in an elevator and with it suddenly dropping down at an incredible speed then coming to a stop. He was nauseated but it was not anything he could not handle. On the other hand, Lasore was vomiting everywhere. The group had been trying to calm him down but with him thinking he was dying, he would vomit on anyone who came near him. This was amazing because he was precise with his vomit as it was landing on the intended target but with him on the ground moaning, shaking, and feeling hot and cold at the same time.
A gust of wind swept through the place as the princess of Senjira had arrived and with her, the fainting of the man named Lasore who was a headache.
"It is hard for those who have no core nor a Blessing to travel using the stations, but they get used to it."
Sheyken was finding it hard to think of any normal person having the mana crystals to travel using the station until they got used to it. Knowing that they were only given one mana crystal for their hunt in the Trial Forest in Senjira, he would be more than shocked if a normal person managed to get 5 mana crystals, let alone use them for travel.
After collecting themselves and with Salina cleaning Lasore's vomit from those who were bombarded with his precise targeting, they finally got a view of Zerbel, the capital city of Zerxebel.
It was nothing like Belema with its honeycomb design. This was a proper high clash city. It was like you were transported back in the 1700s on Earth. The houses and shops looked modern with their design. There were storefronts running along the road that looked classy and expensive. The vegetation around was well mended and the grass trimmed.
At the end of the city and by where the Teleportation station was, a beautiful castle sat atop of a small hill both magnificent and proud. On its back was a mountain that had a waterfall giving the place a signature look. The water disappeared at the back of the castle and appeared in front of it again as there was a big pool of water in front of it and then from the pool of water a manmade stream that went to every corner of the city. It was like the castle was feeding life to the city.
The station was on top of a dome-like structure, same as the one they had been at in Belema but with decorations and statues. The steps led them to the city square unlike in Belema where they led underground. On the other side of the castle, there was another Teleportation station. Sheyken noticed that where they were only people coming into the city using the station. It seemed to him that the other one was for those who wanted to use it to travel out of the city.
They went down the steps and Sheyken noticed that the people that were there and in Zerbel wore their armor every time. The boys were also wearing theirs as Salina said it would give a good first impression were they were going.
"Lariote, can you find a place to stay for today, the one we used before will be alright. I and the boys will see you guys later."
Salina said as they reached the square. Lariote who seemed to have been given the duty of looking after Lasore nodded his head with him on his shoulders still unconscious. After the morning Esiyana had, she was not feeling left out anymore and was determined to surpass the boys. She gave a nod that meant many things and the boys saw it in her eyes. They did not say anything and nodded back at her then left.
The streets were still quiet as it was the early hours of the morning. Many who were up and about were impressed at what they saw. A beautiful girl walking with two boys that wore armor that was the envy of all mana users was going to be the talk of the city that day.
They reached a building that looked like a large collage.
"Xerbelze School Of Excellence."
Falgur read the sign on the gate. They entered and went straight for the headmistress' offices. The hall way was big and tall. It was almost like it was made for a giant to walk through.
"Quileth-Headmistress"
Falgur read out load again the name on the door. Salina did not knock and went inside. A lady as tall as Singal was at the other side on a desk that was full of books, both new and old and she was making tea. Her outfit was screaming 'Witch!'. She wore a light brown with black dots pointed hat complimented by the the same colored long sleeve pencil-dress.
'Why is a witch the head of a school?'
Sheyken asked himself.
"Awe, I did not expect visitors and ones that are rude enough to not knock."
The lady said.
"I already knew that you sensed we were here."
"Awe, I see, but it is still polite to knock. Anyways, it will be 200 gold coins for both of them with 40 additional gold coins for the late arrival, I am sure you want to enroll the young boys right?"
The lady said now pouring her tea and still not having looked at them.
"Thank you, madam Quileth."
Salina replied and with a bow.
"Madam? Only one child has ever called me that. Wait, could it be..."
She turned around and when she saw Salina she smiled.
"Awe, I see my little troublemaker has all grown up."
Falgur laughed inwardly. Quileth then looked at the two boys.
"If you are here then these two must be the Finis that everyone has been on about in the upper echelons."
"Yes."
"In that case, they can attend the school for free."
She said as she put her tea on the table and Sheyken got to get a good look at her. His mind could not compute after seeing her. She was as old as a fossil. Her skin was all shriveled up like crashed paper and she looked so thin such that a small breeze looked like it could tumble her over. What was missing was for her noise to be pointy but Sheyken thought it once was before she got old. Despite that, her teeth were well maintained and were white as the word itself. Her eyes looked yellow and full of life. She was a far cry from the all so beautiful witches the boys had met so far.
Quileth on the other hand had almost stopped breathing after looking at both of the boys. She did not know where to start. Their armor was of the elites, their eyes were of those who have killed not just beasts but humans too with Sheyken's looking like ones of someone who has faced death multiple times. She did not know where to start about their blood. One had a miracle coursing through their veins, a White sacrifice, and the other the bane of all witches, cursed blood, and of the highest level which will continue to get stronger as he does.
"What kind of monsters are you?"
She thought out loud. She was shocked at herself but it was too late for she had already asked them. Salina was shocked to see her like that. The boys did not know what to say and scratched the back of their heads while smiling innocently.
'She must have seen the same things the Guild master had seen. Are they that special?'
Salina thought. Quileth took a sit and sighed.
"Take a seat."
She spoke. They all took a seat and looked at her.
"Finis hah...."
She said again like she was in disbelief.
"I have a request to ask you boys, you do not have to accept it, but it will mean a great deal to me if you do."
The boys were taken aback as the old lady was sincere as she asked. Salina was more than shocked as she knew who she truly was and sincere was a far cry from it. The boys looked at each other and gestured for her to continue.
"Please, do not kill any of the kids."
She said in a pleading tone. Salina was again surprised.
"We promise."
The boys said in unison like they had rehearsed it. Having not to kill anyone so to have the favorer of the headmistress was a no-brainer. They did not know why she thought they were psychotic killers but they were not planning on killing anyone anytime soon except for anyone in the Luminexis. Quileth breathed a sigh of relief.
"We have many noble's and well known families kids attending this year. I just do not want to deal with the aftermath. If they annoy me, I might just kill all their bloodline."
Quileth said with relief. The boys were taken aback by her words. Only Salina was now feeling at ease as that was the headmaster she knew.
"How much time do you need to settle down? Are you leaving them here and going back or will you be staying?"
"I will be looking for a house tomorrow. So, I will be staying in the city. They will be staying with me, so no need to arrange dormitories for them. They can start attending classes tomorrow. I do not want to waste any of the valuable time that they should be spending here."
Sheyken was thrilled to hear that.
"I see."
She said as she gave Salina two booklets and two pairs of uniforms that magically appeared in her hand just like how Sheyken would do with Ruby.
"Since you two have Blessings and quite unique ones at that, you will have to choose classes from that list. So, I guess I will see you boys tomorrow then. Do know that if you are late, well, let's just say something bad will happen to you."
She said as she gave them a big bright smile.
"I will prepare the paperwork and you can sign tomorrow morning."
She said as she took a sip of her tea. Salina and the boys nodded their heads and left. Her beautiful smile on her old wrinkled face was the stuff of nightmares for them.
She looked at the boys and especially at Sheyken as they left.
'Victicus, what have you brought into the world. First, you took that girl under your wing with her unique Blessing which she had no control over, and with everyone thinking it was a curse. Now you have these two monsters under your protection. Not to mention that anyone who knows you well would never want to pick a fight with you if they do not want to die. Awe, I cry for their enemies, especially witches.'
Quileth thought as she could not make the goosebumps in her body to stop after looking at Sheyken's blood.
"Who is she really?"
Sheyken could not help to ask Salina as they passed the school's gate.
"Quileth, The Cruel Witch. She is the oldest fourth-circle witch I know and someone you never want as an enemy, no matter how powerful you are.
