Forced to Flee

My whole body jumped as I heard the door slam open. I look outside of the dining room to see what had just happened.

I had been eating dumplings while I was waiting for Tai Lung to get back, crying a little inside seeing how The dumplings here didn't come close to the ones in the village. But only a little bit.

But when I looked out from the dining room I saw Tai Lung stomping away to his room, confusion and fury plastered on his face which could have been seen miles away. I followed behind him and caught the door just before it slammed shut in my face. "Hey what happened? Why are you so angry?"

"They said I was not the dragon warrior... They said I wasn't the one!!" Tai Lung yelled, punching a hole in a nearby wall. "Master has betrayed me! I trained day and night and for what?!" He smashed his bed next, the floor being destroyed in the process along side the bed.

Tai Lung looked back at me, baring his teeth. "I will not have it. You are the next to be chosen and the next to be rejected. Don't let them fool you as well, you are not the one." He said with a quieter tone.

I watched on with a casual expression but deep down I felt a bit of anger and frustration. If Tai lung couldn't be dragon warrior then what about me? I trained under him for years to get equal with him, and then even longer to become better. So if he wasn't suitable then why would I be? After all he was the strongest up until just a year ago but that shouldn't affect anything.

"So. What are you going to do now that you got rejected for the position you have trained your life for?"

"What will I do now? Now my brother, it is time we prove ourselves. Now it is time to show Master Shifu and Master Oogway what we are really capable of. I have trained your senses to the extreme for years along with your instincts. You haven't mastered both yet but you are close. I also got something for you." Tai said with a grin. He handed me a pair of bells, the same ones that had been taken away from me when I first arrived here.

I smile in return and nodded, taking my old balls and putting them on my hip. We quickly made haste, rushing out towards the valley. Once we reached the bottom of the steps we started to cause havoc in the village. Destroying buildings, burning the streets and killing innocents. Showing off while we did so to let everybody witness what the true "unpredictable twins" could do.

After we had enough, we ran back up Jade mountain to the Jade Palace. Smashing through the large doors only to be greeted by two familiar figures.

Master Shifu, and Master Oogway who I had met in my second year of staying here.

Both were standing side by side with each other. The looks of disappointment and frustration present on each of their faces.

"Master we have returned. I have returned. Not only to claim the title of dragon warrior but my brother has come to begin learning from the one-thousand scrolls." Tai Lung said as he knelt down, I did the same.

"What have you done?! You massacared innocents, burned the streets and houses, and destroyed people's possessions! What have you become Tai Lung, and what caused you to bring Jachi into this!" Shifu yelled out.

"You and Master Oogway took away my right to become the dragon warrior, so I showed you and the valley what I am capable of. What WE are capable of. But most of all, Jachi showed how a dragon warrior should act as well so if anything he should also be bestowed the title when he reaches my age. But if you are not willing to give up the scroll then we will just have to take it!" Tai said, snarling as he finished speaking. Standing tall, taller than anybody else present in the Palace.

I had backed up a bit but got into my stance, a stance that I had made and trained in specifically for an all around fighting style.

Meanwhile Shifu sighed, looking away in disappointment.

Tai Lung quickly rushed Shifu but was quickly hurt. Shifu was a master for a reason and Tai lung could just barely go toe to toe with him.

Master Shifu struck Tai many time, each strike becoming less and less powerful the more he watched Tai grunt and get hurt, but that did not stop him from trying to disable Tai Lung.

As soon as I saw my chance, and after letting Tai Lung get hit a bit, I joined in on the fight, and that quickly turned the tables of the fight. Throwing punches and kicks along side Tai Lung which broke down Shifu's defense by an incredible margin.

Shifu began to tire quickly, he could fight Tai Lung equally and beat him more often than not but when it was me and Tai together. There was no chance.

Blow after blow, strike after strike we attacked without letting up. Shifu could hardly throw any devistating blows because whenever he did, one of us would always part it or block it to let the other deliver a big hit of our own.

And this next strike was for sure the deciding blow, a kick from Tai Lung that connected with the Red Panda's hip which made Shifu yell in pain while he was flung far away from the both of us.

A crackling noise came with the impact as it sounded like Shifu's hip has been shattered. The guess was correct when we both saw Shifu holding his hip and struggling to move at all without pain causing him to fall back down.

"Don't you see?! We are worthy of the dragon scroll! Not even the great Master Shifu can stand against the two of us!" Tai Lung yelled towards the turtle.

Tai Lung looked at the scroll and jumped for it but was stopped by Master Oogway. Tai Lung quickly had his chi points blocked before he came crashing to the ground, unable to move an inches afterwords.

I grit my teeth, looking at the scrolls and running towards the but the turtle stood in my way. "Aren't turtles like you supposed to be slow?! Get out of my way!" I yelled as I tried to pass him but Oogway would not allow it.

"That's quite the mouth you have on you. Shame on you for judging a person by their species." He had said before he started to attack me.

I quickly went on the defensive and danced around with him, blocking and attacking while trying to get as close as I could to the scrolls which I was successfully able to do. Once my back was facing the scrolls I jumped backwards as far as I could and landing just before the huge wall of scrolls. I climbed up and grabbed a random scroll.

Master Oogway did not take kindly to that and started to speed up. His attacks started to hurt much more and his defense became even more defined. I might have to do a sacrificial escape. And that was what I did.

Rushing towards and as a strike came at my chest, I turned to the left and let the strike land on my arm. Intense pain rang out and my whole body tensed up but I grabbed Oogways hand and threw him away from me. Giving me enough time to rush out of the Jade Palace with the scroll and one working arm.

I jumped down from the Jade Mountain. Falling dowards and using my feet to slow my decent. It wasn't a pleasant feeling but I managed to land safely because of that.

I quickly ran away from the mountain off into the distance, looking behind me after a few minutes of running to find that nobody was tailing me.

I sighed and climbed into a tree before I let my body rest against the trunk while I sat on a branch.

"Was this worth it?.. maybe. Now let's see what's inside of this scroll." I said to myself, opening the scroll with one hand to see what was inside. My hope for it to be something about chi was destroyed but it was still a good scroll. After ringing the bells close by the scroll I saw what it was for. It was a weapon mastery scroll for bladed polearms. Wasn't the choice of weapon I would use per say but it was better than getting a scroll on how to become one with yourself.

I closed the scroll after giving it a quick glance over. Looking at my arm and feeling it up with my other, after a bit of touching and squeezing I found out that it was just dislocated and I forced it back into place.

"I'm going to wait till tomorrow to see what to do next. Today has been both eventful and regretful on many levels. I lost a good partner for training. As for the other two I couldn't really care much about. I thank Master Shifu for what he did but he has to die if he will oppose my actions." I said to myself as I closed my eyes. Falling asleep in the process.

Sorry for such a short chapter. As of right now I'm trying to figure out what to write next, so any ideas you can have will be helpful when I begin writing the next chapter which will happen later today.

I am also sorry if there is any decrease in quality in this chapter. I wrote this on my phone since I don't really have a computer around right now.

Besides that have a good day!

Also 10k words have been reached. The next step is 50k!
