Dinner was finally done for the night after Takei had successfully washed and dried all the dishes and utensils.
The only thing left to do before bed was to show and brush his teeth, which were both things that Takei intended to do very soon.
"You can go ahead and use the bath, Grandma and I will handle the rest," Akihiko said to Takei, while finishing up the cleaning for him.
"I'll take you up on your offer then, thanks," Takei replied.
Curiously enough, he saw Akihiko smirking when Takei accepted his generous offer.
Another thing that had been on his mind was Akari's disappearance.
After Akari had helped him with the dishes, she had mysteriously disappeared without saying a single word to him.
It seemed that she had retreated to her room, but he didn't know what could be so important that she wouldn't even tell him about it.
Deciding that it was something that he shouldn't pry into for the meantime, Takei grabbed a change of clothes and a new towel and headed for the bathroom.
He was going to indulge in his daily warm bath that helped relieve a day's worth of soreness and fatigue.
Takei stripped off all of his clothing and threw it into the basket, then placed his towel on the hook, and sinked into the bathtub with a blissful smile.
"Ahh, this is the life!" Takei happily said to himself. "My fatigue is almost non-existent now thanks to mankind's best invention."
Of course, he was talking about the concept of soaking in a bathtub full of warm water.
As he was quietly relaxing with his eyes closed, Takei could hear the door to the bathroom slowly creak open.
Is that Grandpa? Or is it Grandma? Why would they need to come into the bathroom while I'm in there?
Takei was curious as to who opened the door, but it wouldn't be too long before he found out.
A few moments passed, and Takei managed to catch a glimpse of golden hair entering the room.
"Akari...?" He muttered, confused.
Finally making her debut, Akari stood in front of Takei with a shy smile on her face.
Thankfully, her body was wrapped in a towel so all of her indecent places were covered.
That was good for Takei since he didn't want to lose his sanity.
"May I come in?" Akari cutely asked. "I was a bit lonely and wanted to spend time with you..."
Akari looked extremely alluring with little covering her body, it was as if a literal goddess had descended upon Takei.
Since there was little left to the imagination, Takei's mind was getting more frazzled by the minute.
"A-ah, yeah... You can come in," Takei stammered. "Here, I'll move over to make some space for you."
He knew the reason that Akari had come in was to take a bath with him, that's why he affirmed her decision to get into the bathtub before she had even asked.
"Thanks," Akari smiled.
She was happy since Takei knew exactly what she wanted without her even saying it.
With Akari heading to the bathtub, Takei moved over to one corner and turned his back to him.
Akari did the same when she entered the bathtub, since both of them were outrageously embarrassed at the current situation.
Even though they had been dating for a while, the embarrassment would take a very long time to disappear completely.
They leaned their backs against each other without saying a single word.
Both parties knew what the other person was feeling in the moment, so no words were exchanged for quite a while.
Being fed up with the silence, Akari turned her body around and wrapped her arms around Takei.
"Can I refill up on my Takeinium?" She whispered into Takei's ear.
Akari leaned forward as she was hugging Takei, which inevitably pushed her great mountains on his back.
Takei was incredibly flustered as a result. "Y-yes ma'am!"
The bountiful soft orbs that were pushing against his back were destroying Takei's mental state.
Even with the towel on, there was no mistaking the holy softness that was every man's dream.
Looking out of his peripheral vision, Takei noticed that Akari was blankly staring at the back of his head.
"Was there something you wanted to ask me?" Takei curiously asked. "You're oddly lost in thought today."
Akari quickly snapped out of her stupor when Takei pointed it out.
"I was just curious if you're really okay with me..." Akari sadly muttered. "I know I'm a perfect girl on the outside, but I know I'm not the best on the inside."
So she's feeling anxious about my opinion of her...
Takei scoffed at what she had said. "Of course you're not the best on the inside, I should know that."
"Then..." Akari began to say.
"But, that's why I love you. Not the perfect goddess, but you." Takei explained. "Akari Akazawa, I love you and only you. I wouldn't have it any other way."
Akari's anxious expression quickly faded after she heard Takei's passionate statement.
"Then, would you be okay with me being Akari Tanaka?"
"Yup, that's perfectly fine with me. Great even, I can't wait."
Since Akari had brought up a hypothetical to test Takei's feelings, he replied as honestly as possible.
As a result of that, Akari's entire face turned beetroot red, and it wasn't due to the high temperature of the bathroom.
That night, Akari was not able to sleep that well due to Takei being a heartthrob of a boyfriend.
