This was because it pertained to the Ra bloodline. However, she hadn't explained any of this to Zekith before inviting him to appear at Ra Manor today. The purpose of him being there today was because he is the last descendent that can potentially activate the Blood Affinity from this trial. Upon seeing him go into a trance at the Fountain of Souls. The majority of her worries went out the window and a flash of excitement could be seen across her face. Before she forcibly composed herself. This trail is broken down into three parts. The soul, the physical body, and the mind. It was built to test the young generation through the quality of their blood. The reason the Matriarch was excited pertained to Zekith going into a trance. This was a clear sign of activating the Soul portion of the Blood Affinity trail. There was a high significance to this section of the trail. That was because the last member of the Ra family that has been able to activate the Soul portion of the Blood Affinity trial in over 3000 years. This was a major shame to the name Ra and each generation was even more ashamed compared to the last and this included herself. The Matriarch's body shivered as her eyes looked into the scrying bowl. She watched as Zekith made his way to the Stairs of Destiny. She was paying close attention to how the situation unfolded before her eyes.
Zekith got to his feet. The feeling in his body was wonderful. Checking on himself a little two strains of energy. One red and the other gold clearly began to slowly circulate around him. Much like how Kinta's energy swirled around him during there battle. This put a smile on his face and he began his journey to the manor. By now it was clear to him that this trip wasn't a normal visit to see his Aunt. Moving smoothly passed the Fountain of Souls in the garden. Zekith entered a lavish courtyard. Even within the still pale evening light. This courtyard softly glowed with a beautiful aqua blue color. The focal point of the courtyard was a large elegant marble gazebo with rare gemstones and runes embedded into its structure. There was a couple crystal chairs with a small crystal table in the middle of the gazebo. The design had a simple with a comfortable aesthetic. This type of design would normally draw the eye of any normal or cultured person that passed by it. However, this held very little interest for this young man as he swiftly walked past. As he reached at the other end of the courtyard. A set of nine steps were setup before him. This was the only thing that he had to cross before entering the next section of the manor.
Clearly all he needed to do was ascend these steps to finally reach the main building. There was a small sign placed next to this small staircase. Looking at the sign made Zekith frown a little. "These steps are called the 'Stairs of Destiny.' What an interesting name for a staircase." Laughing to himself as he proceeded forward. Not really thinking or looking in great detail at the seemingly mundane steps in front of him. Zekith didn't notice the faint artistic details of the extraordinary formation that was placed on these steps.
Without any hesitation he placed his foot down. At that moment his world changed as a massive level of pressure weighed down and penetrated his body. Vroom, Whamp! It was like he was suddenly carrying twice you own weight. This was a startling turn of events, but, he was able to quickly regained his wits. "Hmm, this is interesting... I can clearly feel that my weight has just suddenly doubled. I wonder if this pressure will double again on the next step?" He took another step and just as expected his weight was doubled again. "Hoh... Interesting." He gritted he teeth. Grimacing from the strain. "Very interesting indeed."
Still gritting his teeth he took another step and the pressure doubled again. This time he once again expected his body to be bombarded with massive pressure, yet something strange was going on. Zekith couldn't explain what he was feeling. But, he heard a roar of a dragon and the rumbling of thunder. He could also feel that everything on the inside was changing as well. Even his skin was becoming tougher. Along with his muscles and even his bones. Within his mind a loud roar of a dragon once again could be heard. This roar was different from the previous one heard. This roar didn't come from within this roar was being produced by Zekith himself. He was standing looking to the sky as he released this massive wave of energy. Once he let this roar loose something within his mind snapped. His vison swam and he caught a gleams of a Dragon shaped mountain. The body of this dragon coiled tightly around this mountain. Suddenly, his body was rocked with massive pain. He dropped to his knees and clamped his mouth shut and to keep himself from screaming.
The Matriarch whom was watching instantly stood up in shock. Once again she was petrified by what she was seeing. The light in The study changed from a cool azure blue to a chaotic mix of red, green, blue and even black. Her mind was in a state of bewilderment. "He's clearly only reached the third step on the 'Stairs of Destiny' why is his blood reacting already." Her breathing had also become irregular as she looked at the scrying bowl not taking her eyes away from Zekith for a moment.. "I can't believe this is happening. This is totally unprecedented. The next closest in his generation didn't activate their blood on the 'Stairs of Destiny' until reaching the sixth step. Plus, he also seems to be in pain. Could he be..." her thoughts were moving a mile a minute.
It must be understood that the earlier ones blood reacts on the Stairs of Destiny the more pure that individuals blood is. In the Ra family the purity of ones blood will be a strong factor when determining their standing within the hierarchy. At least that's how it was in the past. Currently the situation was different. She as the standing Matriarch was thrust into the position of head of the family. After which she was tasked with coming up with a plan of action to fix the current decline in the Ra family. By no means a small task. She worked tirelessly at this very task. Which was very taxing on her overall health. However, her midnight black hair always had that white streak from apex to temple on the left side of her head. It was a birth mark and only adds to her dignified look. However, the stress of the situation truly caused her to be close to her wits end. The Matriarch almost gave up hope, yet, right at this moment. A freshly lit fire was ignited in her heart. Taking a moment to calm herself she sat back down. "This descendent of mine is definitely the last hope of our declining Bloodline!" The crease in her brow deepened as she frowned in concentration because this matter was of great importance. She looked gravely at the scene that was playing out before her eyes. "He must be trained..."
This all happened without Zekith's knowledge. He however was smiling at the moment. The pain from his internal transformation had stopped and the pressure from the stairs was gone as well. He was looking at his body in amazement and confusion. "I have no clue about whatever just happened to me, but I've never felt this power before. It's circulating through my every vein and is apart of me."
Zekith remained standing on the third step of the Stairs of Destiny for a moment. Before heading to the main building of Ra Manor after taking a deep breath. He first observed himself. "Did I just step into the First Warrior stage?" He thought about it some more then his smile deepened. Because he knew his conjectures where true. With a smile remaining on his face. he walked up the remainder of the stairs unhindered. Only stopping at the top when a magnificent building came into view.
"Woah..."
