Chapter 5

Zamora stormed up to her room. Her cheeks stained from tears. She cried and cried some more. She made a laughing stock out of herself. She was pathetic. A stupid little brat.

More tears came as she slid down behind the door. She hated her life so much. She had loving parents, she was wealthy but at that time no one can stand her at school. Even though her parents loved her. They still placed her brother before her. Her mother does it to be exact.

All Zamora wanted to do was lay in bed, wrapped in her cozy blanket and never leave her room.

"Zamora!" Her mom's soft voice could be heard as she headed up the stairs towards her room.

"What's going on!" Concern laced her voice.

"Zamora!"

She knocked on her room door. She tried opening it but it was locked.

"Zamora honey what's wrong."

More tears only brimmed in Zamora's eyes as she cried silently. What did she do to deserve this treatment from her classmates.

"Zamora open the door." Her mommy tried saying.

"Go away!" She screamed at her mom.

"Zamora just open the door."

She pleaded. She loved Zamora dearly. She was her oldest daughter and only daughter. She would do anything to protect her.

Zamora knew her mom very well. She was stubborn and she's stay at her door until she opened it and pour out all her worries and problem to her. Her mom always made her feel safe. She always try to protect herno matter what the circumference was. Zamora couldn't ask for anything more. She had her loving mom. But still she made others take advantage of her.

She wiped away her tears using the back of her hand before opening the door. There in her line of vision she saw the beautiful face that belonged to her mom. She engulfed her into a hug. She poured out everything. All her worries, hearth ace and problems.

With her mom everything felt safe. She felt warm and comforted. But Zamora knew her mom, she would be at her school bright and early. Barge into the principals office despise the secretary telling her he was busy. She would shout at the principal until he turned red.

"What kind of school is this!" She fired at Mr walker the principal. A bawled head man, he hardly spoke and most individuals taught he wasn't fit for his job because he never showed any interest in the students and he was always in his office.

"Just look at you..." She paused to think of a word that suited him. "Fat useless hog!"

He sank into his seat sweat trickling down his forehead. His heartbeat accelerated. He faired Zamora's mom a lot since she was always the first to tell him a piece of her mind.

"You pathetic loser. You aren't fit for your job! All you do is eat, sleep, shit and who knows what else!"

Anger was radiating from her. The large office seemed smaller and there was a series of tension within the air.

Zamora gasped at her moms choice of words. "Mom." She muttered through gritted teeth.

Mr walker swallowed the lump that formed in the back of his throat and gasped for air.

"Just look at you." She threw daggers at him.

Zamora rested her head into her hands from embarrassment. She knew what her mom was doing was wrong. Things would only get worst and it wasn't the principals fault why whatever happened to her happened.

"I should just choke you."

Zamora looked up to see her mom reaching for Mr walker over the dext to choke him. She gasped surprisingly.

"Mom! Stop it now!"

She shouted.

Mr walker screamed as Zamora's mother tried to choke the living hell out of him. Soon two security came to his rescue pulling Zamora's mother from the helpless man.

He gasped for air, holding his chest for dear life. He adjusted his glasses. "Get her out of here."

He only had strength when he had people to protect him.

Zamora's mom aimed after him again only to be backed off by his security.

"Let this be the last I see you fat hag!" She pointed her index finger at him.

"Good for you its your last day because am banning you from entering this school's territory."

He smiled at her.

"You what!" She went after him but he was being barred by the security's.

"I will take my leave but if I hear anything happens to my kid." She pointed in Zamora's direction.

"I'll come for you fat hog."

She said before she left with Zamora trailing behind her.

"Its not like u could come back." Mr walker laughed. No one paid him any attention as they resumed to their task that was at hand. His secretary only shook her head.

For Zamora things went smoothly for the day no one troubled her because her mom threatened a few students she passed by. They never uttered a word to her, they only looked at her with wide eyes

She walked to the final class of the day biology. Biology was her favourite subject. As she entered the room all eyes averted in her direction but no one utter a word to her.

She took her seat and waited for their teacher to arrive.

The rest of the day went smoothly and soon school was dismissed. She was about to leave when she heard her name being called. She turned around to be greeted by Daniel one of her classmates.

She gave him a friendly smile. "Hi."

"Hey. I was wondering if I could get the history notes from last class since I wasn't here."

"Oh. Um... Sure." She smiled at him. She wasn't used to speaking to anyone since she never fitted in. She reached into her backpack and handed him the book.

"Thanks." He smiled.

"Have you heard about the incident?"

"What incident?"

"The one that happened yesterday here."

"I'm lost."

"The janitors were cleaning yesterday after school when they discovered the body of two students."

"Omg!" She covered her mouth. "Who were they?"

"Greg and Candy."

They started walking in the direction of the locker room through the almost empty hallways.

"I've heard Greg's still alive."

"That's good news right. And candy?" Zamora asked with sympathy.

"She didn't make it." Tears brimmed in Daniels eyes.

Zamora knew he had a crush on Candy and receiving a bad news about her must have hurt him.

"David am so sorry." She tried soothing him.

"Its not your fault Zamora. You know nothing of what happened."

"You liked her."

"Yes." He answered even though it wasn't a question.

"Who ever killed her should be punished."

Suddenly Zamora took interest in all of this.

"You should have seen how they smashed her head Zamora. Its no normal human that did it."

Just the taught of it brought goose bumps to her skin.

"No evidence or DNA nothing was found. There is something not right that's going on Zamora. I can sense it. There is blood all over the walls."

"What do you mean."

Zamora asked quizzically.

"Call me crazy but its no human that killed Candy and placed Greg in the hospital."

"What are you trying to say?"

"Something big is going on and I'm going to find out."
