Chapter 12

“Okay, let’s get you tatted up then, blondie.” Kenji laughed.

“I’m kind of nervous.” Dani admitted.

“It’s not super painful, it’s more annoying than painful.” Kenji explained with a smile.

“I trust you.” Dani smiled back nervously.

“Just talk to me, it’ll help if you aren’t focusing on it.” Kenji said as he picked up the tattoo machine and began dipping it in ink.

“Okay, when did you start drawing?” Dani asked, slightly cringing as Kenji slowly began to press the ink into her thigh.

“I started drawing in middle school.” Kenji laughed at the memory, “I didn’t start taking it seriously until I was like sixteen.” Dani smiled as she listened to him talk.

“Awe, when did you decide to do tattoos?” She was no longer focused on the pain of the tattoo, instead her attention was on Kenji’s story.
