Chapter 14

“Do you need me to distract you?” He asked and she nodded and huffed. “Okay, baby.” He smiled before tickling her side.

“Ah!” She screamed while laughing hysterically.

“You wanted a distraction!” He laughed from above her while tickling her.

“This isn’t what I meant.” She said between laughs.

“What’d you wanna do then?” Kenji smiles and stops tickling her.

“I wanna watch a movie with you.” She says while laughing and pushing him off of her.

“Okay.” Kenji grabs the remote off of his nightstand and turns on the TV, cuddling up next to her while they picked out what to watch.

They agreed on a kid’s movie they both liked when they were little. Dani had her head laid on Kenji’s chest, listening to his heart while watching the movie.

Eventually she was focusing more on the sound of his heart then the movie, tapping her fingers to each bear and letting it slowly lull her to sleep.
