22-a husband and wife

Wrapping his arms around her comfortable form he found himself sighing. “Thought you'd be asleep by now, Wife.”

“Couldn't sleep, husband.” She managed to turn around comfortably, reaching up for his elegant neck as he led her close and practically grinned down upon her, lips wide as they spread, and her soft brown eyes.

There was always something tender about them, something wonderful, whenever light graced them so comfortably and never failed-it always pulled him in. Since the first time, he met Theo he had been struck by the beauty of her eyes and their kind light that had easily bewitched him and left him so breathless.

It couldn't be helped and those pretty eyes of hers often said just enough and caught too much, cut right into his soul, and made him feel so sure of why he married her.
