The Monarchy of Waybrook, a kingdom of Rolyat, was my home, my fortress, and I was willing to do anything to protect it and ensure a good life for my subjects, my only impediment to realizing my dreams was my own father, the King.

My father was a perfect despot, and after many years in hold and many mistakes the council was unsatisfied, the population in revolt and a possible uprising was more than right, and I knew that if I wanted to change that I had to take the throne as eldest, but how could I do that without a husband as the archaic law of our country dictated? I don't know, and I'm with tied hands. 

But if marrying a complete stranger was the price of my people's freedom from my own father's clutches, would I be willing to pay it?  Even if it cost me my freedom and having to live away from the one I really love? That's what I had to find out.

After the long breakfast we all went upstairs again for us to change to hold the ceremony in honor of those killed in the week's attack on the palace which was to be held at the Glory's City Convention Center as the Execution House which was also used for these events was completely burned to the ground. 


I asked Anne and Scott for a report earlier today on what happened and my lady-in-waiting was efficient in bringing one to me quickly and unnoticed. When I read it, I found out that it had been an attack by The Knights and other guards had died in the conflict and Roman had pulled many of them out despite not remembering. 


Scott said that Kesley was present and he never saw a man as iron-willed as my bodyguard to get everyone out of there, but he couldn't save everyone.
