Chapter Nineteen

Tatsi's POV

I was about to enter a book store when my cap and shades were suddenly fell off the reason why my disguise is now ruined. All of this happened when I bumped into a girl.

The people looked at me. Someone stared at me for a long time and the others started to make a noise. Oh no!

Just before the fans ran towards me, someone immediately pulled me over and we ran to the elevator. She immediately closed it. It's a good thing, no one followed us because we moved quickly.

"Y-you're s-safe," she said while panting. She handed me the cap and shades I had dropped earlier.

"Thanks." I was about to get my stuff when I suddenly stared at her face. I don’t know but it looks like there is a magnet that will nail your eyes to her.

Her beauty is captivating.

She snapped her fingers in front of me, trying to get my attention because I was already stunned by her. How long? I do not know.

"Sorry." I apologized.

She just smiled then nodded.

We got to the basement, she pulled me into the back seat of her car.

"Stay here for a while, maybe your fans are still looking for you."

She was about to turn around when I grabbed her hand.

"Uhmm Miss ... can you join me here?" It is awkward if I’ll be just the one who will stay here. And another thing, I want to ask her something. Kinda getting to know her.

“You don’t have bodyguards?” She asked.

“No, I’m alone.”

“Where’s your car?”

“Over there.” then I pointed to her where I parked my car. She just nodded.

“Can I know your name so that I can address you properly?”

“There’s no use to know my name. After this, we will not meet again. Maybe it is better if we remain as strangers.”

Oops. That hurts. I am just on my first move but it seems she rejected it right away.

“This may sound weird but... I feel we have a connection. I think we are not just strangers.”

She stared at me. Then reached her hand. She insists on a handshake.

“My name is Joana Marie Sison.” then she smiled. Oh her smile... her smile lights up her face.

"Tatsi, Tatsi San Miguel. Nice meeting you Joana."

I would have taken her mobile number but suddenly I felt ashamed.

“I know your name. You’re quite famous. You’re a good guitarist. No wonder you have a lot of fans who are chasing after you.”

I was speechless for a while.

“I am also a fan of yours,” she added.

“Do you want me to play the guitar for you?”

She seemed surprised by what I said, but I think it's the only way, for now, to show that I am thankful to her.

She nodded. It's a good thing, I carried with me the guitar.

I played one of our songs, and she’s singing it. She memorized every line and I am happy for it. And by the way, she has a sweet voice. An angelic voice.

"Do you have a band?" I asked her after we played the song.

"No ... I just really like bands."

"A-are you taken already?"

"I am .... not."

I know I am asking her too much already but as early as this, I need to know. I see hope in us. By the way, I got her number as well :) I will make sure that this is not the first and last conversation we will have.
