The King Vs. The Lord of the Lycus Clan

LEANDRO

To his surprise, he saw Lady Marina coming out of the dungeons. He was not expecting to see her there at this time of the night.

As he recalled, she was at the throne room until it ended with the royal kitchen servant on her side. Leandro didn't know how long she had stayed on land that day. Yet, she has the time to visit Lord Lycano.

"A pleasant evening, my lord," she bowed down to him as soon as the distance between them shortened, with a sullen look.

One of Leandro's thick silver eyebrows shot up as he was even more astounded with her indifference to him.

Leandro was expecting her face to radiate, as it always did every time that she saw him. It's not that he longed for it, though. He tilted his head forward in acknowledgment.

"I hope your labor of coming here would not be in vain, unlike me. I will retire now. Farewell, your Majesty," she immediately made a curtsy and left, leaving Leandro scratching his temple.
