You're a strong woman, Jane!

Flashback

Jane and Mia eventually became good friends, and over time their closeness grew closer until finally, Jane told the story of her sad life.

How could she escape from the Johnson family residence? And until now, none of the Johnson family has been looking for her whereabouts.

Even Mia knows Jane's biggest secret when she can read minds. It all started with a guessing game which surprised Mia because Jane knew what she was thinking.

Mia tells Jane that the woman could benefit from her abilities. Many people would be interested in taking advantage of Jane's abilities.

At first, Jane refused. She was afraid because she never used her abilities for anything. But when Mia made sure that everything would go smoothly, Jane ventured to try.

The first task that has just been completed is Jane stealing information from a young socialite woman who is having an affair with a high-ranking official. Mia was paid a lot for this information by a certain party that Jane herself never knew who their clients were.

Mia thinks it's better if Jane focuses on her job and doesn't focus on who hires their services for an expensive fee.

By morning Jane had just come home. She was tired but satisfied that he had done a job. Jane had just cleaned herself up and had a shower while soaking herself in a very foamy bathtub.

Jane turned on the small television that she had put in the bathroom on purpose to relieve boredom while bathing.

A piece of wedding news makes Jane interested in hearing the news. But she was surprised when she saw the figure of Henry - her husband who she still loves, holding the hand of a woman wearing a bright white wedding dress. That Women look beautiful and will amaze anyone who sees her.

Yes, Jane knew that woman was Nicole. Someone beautiful, smart, rich, and educated is very different from Jane.

"Henry? So… you're married to that woman?!" said Jane nervously and sadly as she straightened herself in the tub.

Jane turned on the television even more and saw how Henry's charm was given to the media covering the news of their marriage.

Jane should have been prepared for something like this since she had backed off herself. Jane should have known something like this would happen. Sooner or later, but it was suffocating and still painful to think of her husband marrying another woman.

Jane's heart shattered into pieces. She even screamed in the bathroom.

At the same time, she didn't know what to do. The feeling of not accepting. Everything has happened because her husband now belongs to someone else.

"You're so pathetic, Jane! You should have known this was going to happen! What a fool you are, Jane! You never really deserve to be side by side with Henry," said Jane desperately.

Jane's tears flowed again and managed to escape through her eyelids. The pain was still in her chest. Like making a black hole that is dark, and doesn't know where the end is.

"Turns out, I'm not strong! I can't do it! I'm stupid! I can't see him with another woman. I love him too much," Jane said more desperately than before.

Suddenly, Jane's gaze fell on the small penknife used for shaving her fine hair. The knife had just been lying on a row of toiletry racks between the shampoo and soap bottles.

Let's say Jane is desperate. Until she decided to end her life right then and there, maybe with her dying, the pain would also disappear.

Still naked, Jane came out of the bath. She picked up the penknife with trembling hands. Her other thought was telling Jane not to go crazy to end her still brilliant life. But her other mind said her life had been so wasted.

Why would Jane live if all she had to endure was suffering? Without both parents, raised in a mental hospital, runs away, and ends up getting the pity of Meghan Johnson.

The folding knife was already in her hand. Jane went back into the bath and partially submerged herself. Her hands gripped the sides of the tub and Jane's head was still in safe water.

Jane breathed slowly, her right hand holding a small knife was ready to slash the vein in her left hand.

With great courage, Jane finally slashed her wrist. The pain, of course, she felt, but again, she looked at the television and saw how Henry kissed Nicole. The pain was greater than the pain in her wrist, which was already oozing fresh red blood.

The penknife finally fell from Jane's hand. The fresh flowing blood began to enter the bathtub. Slowly but surely, Jane began to feel the oxygen circulating in her body begin to slow down.

The image of happiness when she was with Henry reappeared in her mind, causing Jane to smile a little before the angel of death came to her death right then and there.

At the same time, Mia just arrived carrying two shopping bags. The plan was that day she wanted to have dinner with Jane. But when she searched the whole room, she couldn't find her friend. Then Mia turned to the bathroom.

Luckily, Mia came at the right time. He screamed in terror at the sight of the red tub and the limply limp Jane with a pale face.

"JANE!!"

"What are you doing? Why are you acting stupid like this?!" said Mia hysterically as she pulled Jane's body out of the tub.

Mia immediately covered Jane's bare body with a towel and attached her to one of the shelves. Mia pressed firmly on Jane's wrist, which had just been slashed by her.

"You are an idiot, Jane! Why would you do something like this?!" said Mia, who kept pressing on Jane's wrist while she pulled out her cell phone from her trouser pocket with one hand.

In an instant, Mia had made a speed dial to call the emergency number to save her friend's life at that time.

Hospital,

The sunlight streaming in through the window made Jane move her eyelids, which were still closed. Faintly, she could hear the sound of birds chirping in a beautiful voice until Jane woke up from her sleep.

Jane slowly opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was the white roof of the sky and the strong smell of alcohol and drugs that was very typical of a hospital.

Jane finally came to her senses. She is neither in heaven nor in hell. She is still alive and in the world.

Jane took a deep breath, making Mia was sleeping on the small sofa startled. Her best friend approached Jane and expressed her greatest concern at the time.

"Oh... thank god. You're awake, Jane. I'm so grateful you were okay last night," Mia said, and she stroked Jane's forehead.

After that, Mia kissed her friend on the forehead.

"Never do this again. You have to promise me, Jane!" Mia's voice trembled as she said that. She didn't want to lose Jane, someone she considered her sister.

"Mia? Why did you help me? You should have just let me die. I can't stand all this sadness anymore. My heart is breaking," Jane said earnestly, and again she slapped her chest hard.

Mia couldn't bear to see her friend's condition. She also cried feeling, how hurt Jane's heart was when she found out that the husband she loved had married another woman.

"Enough! Forget that bastard, Jane! You have the right to live your new life. Don't think about him anymore! Remember what we always dream of together when we have a lot of money. We can vacation anywhere without fear!" Mia tried to encourage, even though her eyes were already teary, and finally, her tears just escaped.

"But… it hurts so bad. I don't even know if I'll be able to get through all this," Jane said again with broken sobs.

"You are a strong woman. I know that, Jane. You are strong!" Mia continues to encourage, repeating strong words to sink into Jane's heart and let her best friend know that her life is precious right now.

"Jane? Suicide is not an excuse for you to avoid all the problems that exist. Instead, you have to be ready to face it. I know you can get through all this trouble. Like I said if you are a strong person! You are a strong woman, Jane! Ignore everything, forget the people who hurt you!" Mia continued to give advice.

Finally, Jane hugged Mia's body tightly. Her best friend returned the hug and stroked Jane's long blonde hair and said,

"I'm here for you. Take it easy, Jane."

"I'm sorry, Mia. Sorry, I'll try not to do stupid things like this. You're right, I should be a strong woman. I can forget the people who have hurt my life," said Jane still sobbing.

Mia became relieved when she heard her best friend say that. At least now Jane's condition is better. Maybe it was fate that Jane had a better chance at life.

That morning became a day when Mia and Jane kept crying and didn't say anything anymore. It felt so relieved when Jane let out all her emotions and anger even though the image of Henry still flashed through her mind.

But like what Mia said. If Jane must be strong to go through all that and Jane believes that she still deserves to have a better life.
