Chapter 51

I hurry to the closest inn with Lucy in my arms. Joe was close behind me. The innkeeper recognized me right away. She hurried me to the closest room that was available. I put Lucy on the bed and looked at Joe.

"Go get all of my wives and bring them here." I told him. My wives have been introduced to my brother in the past 2 1/2 weeks. They were surprised at first but they accepted Joe as their brother-in-law. My brother was apprehensive at first around my wives but the last week he's been more helpful. I check on Lucy. She's breathing fine. She must of used up her energy running away from the bandits that was chasing her.

About 25 minutes later, my wives show up outside of the inn. I walk out and explain the situation.

"I want to see her." Yuna said. Everyone else nodded. I know when they all nod to what one of them says, that means they all want to what the one wants to do. I agreed but I told them to be respectful. One by one, they enter the inn and is shown to the room. Yuna was the first to see Lucy. She only was in there for 15 seconds before she left the room to tell me something urgent.

"Darling, you know who that is in the room?" Yuna asked.

"All I know is that her name is Lucy and she was being chased by some bandits." I replied.

"Lucy is the daughter of the Dark Lord! I remember her from before her father became the Dark Lord." Yuna said.

I was shocked by that. Why did she come here was going thru my mind. I'll asked her why she's here when she wakes up. The rest of my wives file out of the inn after 30 minutes and the innkeeper comes out to tell me that Lucy is awake and she's asking for me. I head in to her room as she is sitting up. She looks at me and she smiles warmly at me.

"Michael Barnes I presume." She said to me.

"Yes, I'm Michael Barnes. I also know that you're the Dark Lord's daughter." I replied.

"That is right. Some of your wives know me since I'm technically a princess." Lucy told me while her eyes are locked on me.

"I understand that. I have a question if I may."

"Go ahead."

"Why are you here?"

She looks at me with her bright red eyes.

"Would you believe me if I told you that my mom saw you in a vision of you defeating my father and saw me by your side four years ago before she disappeared?"

i look at her square in the eyes. She's not lying.

"I believe you."

"I do have a small request for you."

"What is your request?"

"Can you find my mom?"

"I would need some information and her last known location."

"Last I knew, she was suppose to be on Dragon Island to renew the non-aggression pact that has been in place for years."

"Ok, I'll check into it. You get some more rest."

"Michael?"

"Yes?"

"Can you stay with me for a little while longer?"

I thought about it for a few moments.

"I can do that."

I pull out my phone and made a call to God.

"Hello, my child. I know what you're going to ask me."

"I knew you would. So what can you tell me?"

"The woman in question was at the Dragon Island and made sure the non-aggression pact remained intact. However, on her return to the Dark Lord's castle, she was kidnapped by spies from the Kingdom of Trex. She has been on the Southern Continent since. She is a slave to the crown prince."

"Thank you for the Information."

"I should tell you a few more things though, my child. She has been brainwashed. So she will not remember her daughter. The Dark Lord does know of this and I gave you an ability to clear the brainwashing effects that she is suffering from."

"Thank you God. I know what I have to do then."

"Be safe, my child."

I ended the call and looked at Lucy.

"I have found you mother but the situation is complicated."

"How so?"

I told her what God told me and she started to cry but it wasn't sadness in her eyes. It was anger and I could feel it.

"How could the crown prince of the Kingdom of Trex do that to my mother! I'll kill him!"

"Easy, Lucy. I'll save her. I can break the brainwashing spell."

She stops crying and looks at me.

"You can?"

"Yes. I'll be making preparations to head to the Kingdom of Trex in a few days with the full force of the BAA."

"The BAA?"

"The Barnes Alliance Army. The best soldiers and archers of the Barnes, Hearth, Evergreen, and Marks Kingdoms. They're 50.000 strong."

"Wow! I thought you're a ruler of a peaceful kingdom?"

"In order to maintain peace, you should always prepare for war."

A few hours later, Lucy was well enough to walk to my castle and that's where we headed. I went to throne room to start giving orders to prepare the BAA to mobilize and to prepare the new unit to equip the new muskets which I trained the unit how to fire and reload the firearm last week. Sara and Kate will be going as well to be bodyguards to Lucy. My brother will be with me. I have the feeling that the king of Trex won't like to see the ass whooping that is coming to his son, the crown prince.

I head to address the BAA on the situation with the Kingdom of Trex. I stand in front of 50,000 of the best soldiers that have the best armor since the Dwarven Kingdom has been included for the sake of their blacksmithing and metalworks.

"In a few days, we will right a wrong that happened to a young lady. This happened 4 years ago. We will liberate the young lady's mother. At the same time, we will show the rest of the kingdoms in the Southern Continent the might of the Barnes Alliance Army! Let's prepare for war!"

I heard "YES SIR!" from the 50,000 soldiers in unison. My god, I never felt my pride swell as much as I did just a little bit ago. I head back to my war room and make plans with the battle maids to scout the Kingdom of Trex. I know that Trex is the only human kingdom on the Southern Continent I feel that the Kingdom of Trex is about to understand that you think you got away with something 4 years ago, eventually, you will have to pay the debt you created with the person that you harmed the most. In that case, they have to pay their debt to Lucy but I will be the enforcer on this collection.
