Chapter 57

Heading out of the city through the closest gate, I crack my knuckles and stretch out. I feel the stares of people as I walk through the city. Most know who I am. And most are coming from women. I can feel the lust from them but it doesn't faze me. I know it's more about status for them. I am a man but I'm a man of morals and ethics. I make it to the city walls and look east. I start running. I should make it there in an hour and a half.

At the same time in a small hut in the middle of the forest in question...

A young looking woman wearing a witch's hat is sitting down at a table drinking a cup of tea.

"How long have I've been in this world? 500 years? Why did that loli grandma of a former master send me here? All because of that wonderful young man that saved my kingdom from ruin. I hope I can get out of this world soon."

She then looks towards a window.

"Interesting. Someone is heading this way pretty fast. I hope he can lift the curse in this forest and take me away from here. I feel that he has an other worldly aura coming from him. Unparalleled strength and some magic. It's going to be an interesting day."

An hour and a half later...

I arrive at the forest and sure enough, I see a few undead people roaming at the tree line. I might as well call them zombies. You know, this is a gamer's dream that owns guns and other weapons. I'm grinning from ear to ear. I summon my M 16. I look thru my scope, take aim, control my breath, and pull the trigger. I hear the shoot and watch the zombie's head explode. I then sense more zombies from inside the forest hear the shot from my rifle and start heading my way. They always make it easy for someone like me to clear them out. I think I should bring out my minigun. I bring it out and wait. The zombies start to pour out of the forest. I start the slaughter. Time to kill these zombie fuckers.

Back to the hut in the middle of the forest...

The witch was drinking her fourth cup of tea when she hears a loud bang.

"What was that?"

She then hears the moans and groans from the hoard of undead that reside in this forest.

"Sounds like they're on the move towards the area the bang came from."

She waits a little bit before hearing an unusual sound followed by trees cracking and falling.

"What the hell is going on out there!"

Back to the edge of the forest...

Too easy. I switch to my Sledgehammer and start blowing these zombies to pieces. I start to walk into the forest to clear out the stragglers. I'm having fun. The farther in I go though, the more I start to sense a weird energy coming from the middle of the forest. Might be the source of why this forest is in this shape. I should make my way to the source. After 20 more minutes of walking and killing, I see a small hut. I sense that there's a person inside, A woman. I also sense that she's cursed. I got to get closer to figure out what curse or curses she has. Before I could get to the hut, I sensed another presence that wasn't alive and stronger than the zombies that I had destroyed. A lich king! I ready my Sledgehammer and wait for the new enemy to show.

Back inside the hut...

The witch is looking out the window.

"After hearing those loud booms, I think they're all coming from that tall person with that strange weapon. His clothes are strange too. He is handsome though. More so than that boy."

She then sees a powerful undead figure rise from the ground.

"A lich king! I hope that tall man is going to be ok."

Back to the outside of the hut...

I watch the lich king rise from the ground. I have no fear. I ready myself.

"BRING IT MOTHER FUCKER!" I yelled at the lich king.

"RRRRRRROOOOOOAAAAAARRRRR!!!"

The lich king lunges towards me. I flash stepped to my right and take aim with the Sledgehammer. I pull the trigger and slug after slug is being fired at the lich king. The lich king is being pulverized into nothing by the slugs. Sledgehammer is still OP! This fight lasted only 30 seconds, With the skull left, I smash the skull with a stomp. Then I head to the hut. I knock on the door. When the door opens, I get pulled in then hugged. I didn't get a chance to see who this young lady is.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"For the first time in 500 years, I finally get to hug and speak to another living human being."

"500 year!!!!"

"Yes, if it wasn't for that loli grandma cursing me to here and to have immortality, I would have had a chance to live happily with Lloyd."

"Wait.... Princess Marie Azami?"

She looks up at me with wide eyes.

"H-How did you know my true identity?"

"How about we sit down and I'll tell you how I know your identity. But first of, let me introduce myself. My name is Michael Barnes."

"I like your name, Michael. It has a power behind it."

"Umm, thank you. I guess..." I said, scratching my head.

"Let me get you a cup of tea and you can tell me how you know me."

30 minutes of my life story later...

"Wow, you're from another world like me. I feel that this is fated to happen." Marie said.

"Yeah, I'm surprised that I meet someone from a world that I've only seen from an anime." I said.

"So what do we do from now?"

"Well, I think you're bound to this forest through another curse. The trick is to lift that curse but I have to be careful not to lift the curse of immortality off of you."

"Can you lift curses?"

"I have before."

"Ok, let's take this risk."

"Ok."

I walk outside and place my hand on the ground. I focus all my energy towards my hand. I then say the word "Purify". I watch the light from hand go to the ground. then the whole ground lights up. I feel that the whole forest lit up in a bright, white light. A few seconds later, the light dims and I head back to check on Marie. I open the door and see her standing there.

"Pack up some of your things, I'm going to take you with me."

"You don't have to tell me twice!"

It only took her 5 minutes to pack her things and she was ready to go. We start walking back through the forest. I follow my trail of destruction back to the outside of the forest. Of course I have my Sledgehammer at the ready just in case. How ever, I didn't see the bodies of the zombies that I had destroyed. Marie had that look of shock as she saw the destruction that I had caused. We get to the edge of the forest and she looks at me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"What kind of weapon did you use?"

"A minigun at first before switching to my Sledgehammer."

"Minigun?"

I switch to my minigun. Her eyes go wide and her jaw dropped.

"Yeah, guns are my thing, hahaha."

After her initial shock, we talk a little about my guns and I told her that I'll show her then when I get a chance.

"Well, I know you can fly but how about I pick you up?"

"Ok."

So I pick her up and run towards the capital.

An hour and a half later...

We get to the city gate and walk through. I still feel the stares and the lust from women with a hint of jealousy from the men. I bet Marie can feel it too. I get to the castle and see my brother.

"Joe, did everything go well with Alvin's family?"

"Yes. Who is this though?"

"Joe, this is Marie Azami, Princess of the Azami Kingdom."

"Azami Kingdom? I never heard of this kingdom before."

"That's because that kingdom is from another world."

"Wait, you mean like you and me?"

"Yes but not from Earth."

"I see but how?"

I explain the situation.

"Ok, I get it. Oh, there's a few ladies here to meet you."

"Who are they?"

"The same two that you sparred with yesterday."

"Amber and Trista."

"Yes and a third. A royal of the Rabi Kingdom."

"The kingdom of rabbit beast kin?"

"That kingdom. Just be prepared for the "Bunny" or "Hop" at the end of their conversation."

Oh fuck no. Not this shit again. If I have to break a whole kingdom of that, I'll go bald. Well, now I got to deal with it.

"Well Bro, let me deal with this and then I might go back home for the night so I can spend time with my family. I'll be back tomorrow to deal with that piece of shit noble."

"Ok Barn."

Joe walks off to his throne room as I walk of with Marie.

"Who is he?" asked Marie.

"He's my younger brother, Joe Petak. The new king of this kingdom."
