Deman the Flabby Flappy Fatty

Moving on, Aziel found his exit to a nearby tree.

He did it again. Killing something without remorse. He felt like he had gone back to his days of terror as the Seraph of God.

Something in his insides is churning.

"Will my hands be always bloody?"

He asks the evening clouds.

'Do I have to kill every time I'm threatened?'

This won't do is what Aziel thinks as he deeply contemplated. If he had to bark at every tree that blocks his path, what's the point of turning into a human?

Was he being chased by his conscience? Did he finally step closer to the realms of mortals?

Aziel is deep in thought while at the same time, he chose to run away without looking back. The situation called for it—is what Aziel repeatedly told to himself but the words didn't come out beautifully. He made a quick detour to his left way when he almost arrived at the exit.

He saw how bright the skies were. Illuminated by stars and moonlight. Somehow, the view made him recall Larra instead.

Aziel is flustered because he just became sentimental and now as he thought that he would be meeting Larra, he became anxious. He turns reluctant to move.

He would be arriving soon if only he move past the tall tree. Aziel's complexion is pale due to exhaustion from using his untrained vessel, he even tried enhancing it with spells several times in a row.

"These flabby flappy belly buttons!"

He heaves a sigh, his breathing totally betrayed his sick line. He knew that he is fat but this is too terrible no matter how he looked at it.

"No! Let's get done and be over with it."

Aziel reassures himself that everything would be fine.

It is ridiculously optimistic in manner. Not only he would always be in trouble for possible wicked spiritual attacks but also! How come, everything would be fine if her husband died then suddenly he returns alive and well?

But of course, Aziel had already considered this possibility. It's just he is positive that news won't travel that fast. By that time, he will have thought of a good alibi. Which he should be thinking now...

"I know! This is what you call instincts! That is why I became reluctant."

Somehow, Aziel made an excuse for himself. He hasn't thought of anything good yet. Moment by moment, Aziel is becoming more human at each second that he spent possessing the body of Deman.

He thinks that this is naturally right. That this is a product of reliving Deman's memories.

That is right!

He had been replaying every moment and scene in Deman's life. Even as he fought that ghoul in the appearance of a white wolf just recently, he is still examining major points in Deman's Life. If he had to become Larra's wife, he must clear every possible suspicion. This only lasted for a moment. He recognized the seriousness of the situation when he felt Deman's body trembling like a rattlesnake.

"...What is going on? Why this is not stopping?"

Surprised by this immediate change he asks himself.

Then as he did, he gradually felt another aura shaking the atmosphere. At first, he mistook it as his own shaking. But the quaking never stops.

It continued as if the reverberating tremors is approaching.

"Why the killing intent?"

He stood still for a while before quickly remembering something.

'Aha! The damned Reaper!'

Inwardly screaming, Aziel and his excesses kin were all vibrating. It is beating! Similar to drums it is moving excitedly.

Grim Reapers—it was hard for a Superior being such as Aziel to not know them. It wasn't just known individually. Aziel is actually trying to remember his name.

If Balgra Kazta had been tempted by the Evil God several times. It was very divine when he appeared in a dream and offered an upgrade in divinity for Aziel, but Aziel having received the Truth seeker's eyes from the Heavenly God himself had refused every time because he saw how dark and sinister their colors were.

And the Grim Reapers that belonged to the Abyss had a stark resemblance to this darkness.

'It must be the blackness of their robes? Or the void emotionless eyes carving for life behind their eyes?'

—They were all, still vividly imprinted in his mind. Then a little while ago, he felt the same killing intent as before at the exit of the Dark Forest.

"He must be someone new..."

Is what Aziel concluded, after recalling his own legacy.

"There is no way to know the inside story in detail, but it is clear that this Grim Reaper who I haven't been able to recall the name is about to approach me right at this hour. Fuck hit! Shit! What on earth did I do to provoke the wrath of the Grim Reapers when I simply punished the sinner. Mortals will never receive mercy is what this truth says? No?"

Profanities and confusion mixing into the birth of complicated emotions. Aziel had his heart in an upside-down hurricane. There are so many questions left unanswered and having them at this time is not helping him at all.

Since he had been tired from his previous battle, Aziel have decided to simply wait for the approaching Grim Reaper. He slumped to the muddy soil just like a pig resigned for its slaughter.

But just as he waited...

And waited...

The wait is killing him.

Abruptly!

The killing intent faded.

It faded just as soon as it became heated.

"Hey! What the heck happened?!"

Aziel shouts in annoyance.

Just when he had given up thinking for some answers, something changed. It is as if, the call of nature were interrupted or is cut down.

Now he had no idea what to make out of certain changes.

Aziel waited for a couple of minutes more before deciding to just get up from his heavy butt and proceed to meet Larra.

By this time he expected himself to have been able to rest.

"Tsk. tsk. just so you wait... I'll make you into a God among men!"

Aziel woes his defeated self-esteem, he walked tearfully as he patted his back. Yes! There will be a time where he can move with ease. A day where he can proudly stand like a man with great biceps! The kind of lean and fit vessel he once had!

He just has to believe it! The same devotion to the Heavenly God...

For now, he just has to settle for Deman the Flabby Flappy Fatty.
